Raining in London, but with the roof that won't stop us from seeing at least some tennis. Though why they haven't started play on CC a little earlier today is beyond me. Hopefully if it continues to rain they will at least put on another match after Murray.

Anyway, first up, it's Laura Robson trying to make the third round of a Slam for the second time this year...

What a shame Dimitrov's gone.

And Tommy is up 1 set and 4-1 in the second  

Agree Murdoch - Dimitrov easy on the eye on court but he threw away the 4th set by just playing without any urgency or commitment. Zemlja more than deserved the win.

Tommy Haas - the 'man held together with metal and bits of string' to quote the BBC goes 2 sets up  

Well how sexy Dimi is in regards to his looks or tennis style he is on the way home!!

Sorry mate, can't see Robson winning Wimbledon this time around. Maybe in a couple of years, but she's not quite the finished article yet. #tryingtoberational

He seems to be okay now...playing some beautiful S&V tennis against Melzer.

Janowicz is unplayable like this. If Almagro doesn't take him down, no one else in that quarter will.

I'd say Janowicz is by some distance the brightest prospect of the younger guys.

Big weapons but also good hands and moves really well despite his huge height.

He's probably the only guy in that half who you think has a realistic chance of beating Andy.

This serving is unplayable...

Janowicz definitely has a lot going for him. If he can smooth out his backhand which looks a little stiff at times, I'm sure he'll be in the top 10 in no time. I've never seen him serve as well as he has today. If he keeps this standard of performance up for the rest of the tournament he can & will take down more top seeds as I've not felt either anyone else has played particularly dominant or even 'great' tennis so far

El Mug is playing as well as I've seen him.

This is great, it's like Men's tennis is being revived at Wimbledon.

I really doubt he'll play that again in a while. That was one of those "tennis from the gods" days.

I've been hearing good stuff about Jerzy Janowicz. First time I got to properly see him play. Boy he didn't let me down. That was "wow".

JJ laid down a marker today. Now it's Murray's turn.

Janowicz does indeed look awesome - could he cause a big upset?

Gulbis is another player who I would like to see do better.

I would like to too LF - but I've lost hope!

Tommy's like a lovely hitting partner. Unfortunately, he does that in matches.

This is excellent from Murray. He's gone up a gear or two from the first couple of rounds. Serving good, returning great, movement great.

He's very difficult to beat when those areas are firing.

I'd reserve judgement until he plays someone with weapons. Tommy is the sort of guy you'd love to play; you get an honest ball all the time.

Yes BB, and even playing only ok I'd expect Andy to win in straights... But still, hhis level has gone up and that's never a bad thing.

Andy is playing well but Robredo is offering nothing. I suspect Andy has faced tougher resistance in training!

Its good that Murray looks very professional though. Just dealing with what he is up against and looks well prepared (unlike other top pl,ayers!!)

Hmmm cruises through the first 2 sets, takes his foot off the gas, can't quite step it up again. He'll never have Roger's killer instinct.

I think its a bit unfair comparing him to fed- one of the GOATS of all time(in all sports. Murray is still a good champ.

Anyway, easy enough in the end. good win!

Another stroll for Murray, and another step closer to the promised land. Or is it too early to talk about that yet?

I know it is the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation but I'm starting the find the BBC's coverage of Andy quite nauseating. It's so sycophantic. Just let the guy's tennis speak for itself!

Troicki or the Colonel next. I hope it's the former, the latter is playing very well just now.
