Re: Wimbledon Day 6
THere's only one player who comes to the net more than KDK on the WTA tour right now, and that's Vinci....
Re: Wimbledon Day 6
What a performance from Djokovic, a very good sign that he still has not dropped serve yet this tournament. Chardy looked like he had absolutely no shot of ever breaking Djokovic today, if they had 15 sets of tennis I still don't think he would have figured it out. And he hit his groundstrokes so cleanly as well.

Controversial!! Djokovic is again on Centre Court. Has he been on Court 1 yet?

^ There are no big names left in the draw so of course Novak is on center. I'm surprised they've gone for Serena over Laura Robson...

You can go to court 4 and see British Juniors lose all day if you wish as well.

Re: Wimbledon Day 6
But isn't the rule that no one is allowed to play all 7 matches on Centre?

Re: Wimbledon Day 6
I just wasted half an hour of my life reaing the comments after lauras win on BBC..
"she is australian this, blah , blah , blah"
never understood this rubbish. Its not about where you are born . its where you were developed for me.
I understand anyone that is dual nationality or a citizen of different countries can pick who they want. But in some cases it just isnt right. Bang on about Resedski all day long if you please.. But L Robson-- GET A GRIP!
The girl is as British as they come. Infact its bordering on discrimination to suggest she isnt..

You're wasting your time any time you read comments on the BBC.

This. I don't bother. For me, it's a very, very cheap 606.

Kind of proves what I was saying earlier. It's all nonsense. Exactly what is the difference between an Australian and an English? Or British? What does this rubbish mean?mystiroakey wrote:I just wasted half an hour of my life reaing the comments after lauras win on BBC..

I dont know what rubbish you are talking about to be honest Bogbrush.
She wants to be british, she developed her skills here, she came through the british system and she identifies herself as a brit. Show her some respect and call her what she is and wants to be.

Our dear friend BB has some of the most bizarre views of economics, history, politics and tennis that any man could conjure. I have never met an individual who I disagree more fundamentally on just about anything. I am myself more a humanist than a nationalist but who cares about a little light nationalism in the peaceful arena of sports. Sorry BB, I just had to after your recent political dissertations. I know bad Socal, off topic.
