comedy film stars that are just not funny

The only film Eddie Murphy has done that I've liked was The Nutty Professor. That's it.

Okay, and Shrek, but that doesn't really count

Eddie murphy raw is one of the best stand up sets your likely to see, for that alone im willing to give him a pass on some of the rubbish films he's done

Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller are 2 I don't like. They must know people in high places because they have been in a sh!t load of films.


I like actors who are funny without trying to go over the top. Its a fine balancing act. Will Ferrell is funny but he just tries too hard to be for my liking. Jim Carrey is similar but doesn't need to try as hard. By the way, dumb and dumber was the funniest film I ever saw. Carrey and Daniels were superb as 2 idiots and somehow they made it look like their characters were not trying to be funny but just really dumb individuals who got caught up in funny situations.


Look at TV shows. The funniest were only fools and horses IMO. The young Rodney Trotter was one of my all time fav characters. I wasn't a big fan of trigger at all though.


Eddie Murphy in beverly hills cop was very funny too. That wasn't supposed to be a comedy but it had plenty of comedy moments.


Jonah Hill I like and a few others.
