Something I've had a little titter at. In season 1, I picked up Lewandowski as a 2nd or 3rd choice striker for £12.5m. He's now worth £34.5m. I wonder how many players can be picked up cheap on here before they have an explosion in value.

Mandzukic was signed many many times before you signed Mandzukic. In fact, TSJ signed Mandzukic way back in the Furious League days.

Mad man was hardly a surprise package. He was already scoring for bayern when you signed him.
I paid £875k for Marquinhos. I think it will take a lot to trump that one

Re: [solved]Euro Division Homepage LXII
Spanish Bank 1-3 Deportivo La Chorizo
Chorizo dominate the game for me. Excellent midfield and 2v1 out wide.
Atlanta Falcons 1-1 Dos Cervezas
If Kagawa is wide it should be LM, and Corchia isn't great leading to RHS weakness. With Atlanta's system target man up top would be better.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bank 0-1 chorizo
Tight everywhere except on one wing where Baines and lave zzz get the better of navas
Favor 0-0 falcons
In all honesty there's no separating these so a draw is a fair result
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mole City vs Il Azzurini - Default win for Azzurini
Spanish Bank 1 vs 1 Deportivo La Chorizo
Scorers: Llorente; Soldado
Feedback: I really really like the setup from Bank today, I think the extra man in midfield helps make up for the extra quality Chorizo have, and the front two cause problems. However I feel Chorizo cause a lot of problems down the right flank, as Navas who will get back, isn't the greatest defender. Gone for a score draw.
Atalanta Falcons 1 vs 2 Dos Cervezas Por Favor
Scorers: Robben; Lewandowski, Hernanes
Feedback: I say it every week, but I really do feel Marky's side are the best in the league, that CM partnership gives me a hard on for sure. I think they're a bit weak at FB, and Robben takes Corchia to the cleaners, so this is closer than it should be, however I don't feel Falcons quite have enough, (I'd like to see Mertens given a go). Win for Por Favor

Test cricket can be thrilling if you get involved in it. I prefer it to the 20/20 and 50 over stuff. Slogging is fine, but I'd probably rather watch Alastair Cook bat than Chris Gayle. Maybe I'm a sadist.

I'd rather see a six then a nice defensive shot. Sloggers or whatever you wanna call them make the sport interesting.
No don't like Baseball or any American sports.

I agree that I'd rather see a six than a defensive shot, but I'd also rather watch Ian Bell to Afridi or Gayle. Proper cricket shots rather than just hitting it as hard as you can all the time

Just remembered it's also the double climb of Alp d'Huez in the TdF as well today. If anyone is going to catch Froome is the GC, it's going to be today

Apparently Peter Odemwingie has parked in a disabled parking spot at Old Trafford and is refusing to move until he can get his picture taken with Ed, holding a Man Utd shirt.

That's nonsense. They set up finance to pay off over 25 years, so they will be nowhere near paying it all off. They have also come out and said they will not pay it off early.

You may want to check into that again.
There payments are supposed to be between £15-20m per year on that initial 25 year plan, think it goes to 2031.
Lets say the minimum £15m x 7 season = £105m paid back. Or max £140m.
Its cost in total for Emirates was around £360m ish.
Apparently there were no plan to make an early pay off due to other financial implications.
Stadium naming rights and shirt sponsorship with Emirates has been renegotiated which is bringing in more for them & Puma are paying £30m per year as opposed to Nike paying £5m. Now with the increased revenue (take into account the TV revenue deal) they are in a better off position to pay the stadium off quicker.
They will only be 4-6 season off, maybe quicker if they actually ever win something.

We still have around 295m to pay off @ around 15/16m a year although they could pay off early if wanted to as apparently getting around 1.2bn in revenue in the next 4 years We actually paid 25m for the last 7 years but due the way it's scheduled if goes down to 15m from this point onwards
