Best tour of the Pro era?
IF - Aus win will you be BIG enough to say well done?
It is an IF, but IF Aus pull it off tomorrow you have to congratulate them for pulling together and beating the cream of the NH with the injuries that they've had.
Deans has imo out thought the Lions coaching staff every step of the way and has shown how strong Australian rugby union is.
Shows how stupid the IRB were for picking the RWC pools already, three of the worlds best teams in the same group, madness!

To be honest, a second string Aussie team beating what is essentially Wales wouldn't be an enormous turn up for the books? Surely?

Not as easy as you think Empire when we're having to carry people like Parling

How do you mean RubyGuby carrying people like Parling?
It is people like Mike Phillips. Who keeps getting selected ahead of better player/s Like B Youngs C Murray. Ok.

much more concerned about the one dimensional twins, Phillips and Roberts, than Parling, but hey ho.............its us Brits united tomorrow, bring it! (just for you, I guess the reasoning behind the whole, ever so slightly patronising, thumbs up has been long forgotten)

That's just Ruby's way of measuring you up for a coffin. He's an undertaker who is always at work, even when chinwagging on ol' 606

Don't you think that a fair result is 1-1. Australia deserved the first. With our resulting backrow imbalance and what not, I think we deserved the second (just). So it's harsh to say Deans has out thought us when tactically we were pretty good until an enforced change occurred

If Australia win, then England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales should give them some IRB ranking points.

That would take you past 100 points!..which is theoretically impossible
Don't any ranking whizz kids do the maths now and tell me technically how wrong I am because if he beats her by that many points at home with a ref below the age of 35... and so on and so on and so on

Why cant you go over 100? there seems to be a ceiling point at 93. if a team is good enough why cant they just store up points for a rainy day?

Yeah..they should maybe look into that...rainy day points that you can bank and keep for when you start falling before WC pools tiers are selected.
I'm not the most gifted rankings technician, laurie, but I think the more you win the less you score, the bigger the hit you take if you lose kinda way.
Don't nobody fill me in on the details of that either this morning!!! Way too early for that stuff.

11 point win to the Wallabies fly.
whats your pick?
Hmmm. I caught a glimse of the stadium this morning on a news blurb. And I instantly just had the feeling that the Lions are going to take it. No reason for that...just the gut instinct hit me unawares.
It's diluted again as a thought..but was it a true premonition?
Previous to the gut instinct, the Aussies seem to be in formidable mood. It's just all about what mood each team bring, Taylor, rather than style at this point. If the Aussies get into a zone today, they'll be hard to stop because the crowds will drag them along on adrenaline. But also, if the Lions find their Gatball rhythm with the crash bang (cheeky creative bouts too)then they really can become unstoppable too - as England found out.
Up to now, Wallabies look like the side that can practice what they preach. I'll say a Wallaby win by a try and conversion.
But........... I just don't know is probably a more accurate prediction!
