Not sure how he was allowed to come back on.

I thought that temporary substitutions were just for blood injuries......or has the law changed?

There was a law change at the start of last season, that allows players to have concussion tests and return if given the all clear.

Because the test is extremely basic and doesn't actually give much indication of whether a player is concussed or not.  The IRB chief medical guy has just resigned because he is unhappy with it's use but the IRB won't change it.

They were going to ask him 3 questions.

1. Who are you playing? - He answered "The British Lions"

2. Where are you playing? - He answered "Sydney". So they decided not to ask the 3rd question

3. What year is it? - When asked later he said "2001"

As for Hibbard, when he went down after that scrum it was a delayed reaction from the hit with Smith, it took him that long to work out he was hurt.

The minute Bismarck Du Plessis saw that collision he went to his gym, put on the rocky IV album and started lifting rocks in preparation for the AI match in Cardiff... "HIBBARD"!!!!
