Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
Just been looking into the announcement with regards to this fights being made.
It hasn't
The rumours stem from a video of David Haye signing the contract on twitter this afternoon.
However still no sign of Fury which leads me to think that this is just Haye up to his usual.

Hate has signed to fight and is waiting for Tyson to agree and do the same. Rumour has it though that Fury is about to duck Haye and set up a fight with Tony Thompson.

I'd prefer Fury v Thompson to be honest, perhaps with Hughie vs Price on the undercard?

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
I think after so much talk of this that if either man pulls out it'll like like a bit of a duck. More so with Fury after the Pulev and Price issues. I know Price's stock has sucken a bit but at the time it was a clear duck.

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
I cant see this fight happening tbh. Fury has bigger and better things to deal with first. Another 12 tune ups against top 100 ranked opponents will do.
Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
But I thought it 99% certain? With everything 1000%, talk of 80-20 were unfounded with 50-50 being the agreement?

Forgot to add that Fury is training 110% and Haye is half the fighter he was

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
you really have to despair at todays boxing if this doesn't happen, it makes too much sense for both parties. furys an accident waiting to happen and will get a fantastic pay day fighting haye. similar for haye there isnt a better pay day out there other than the klits with fury being the much easier option.
think this will happen, all the nonsense on twitter has to be for a reason, got to be to try and stoke up interest in this fight

Do you really think they would go to all the this trouble to set up contracts and everything if the fight wasnt on? I think they are whetting the publics appetite for the announcement. People want to believe Fury isnt interested in big fights but I think he will prove those doubters wrong and the fight will be confirmed.

Happy for Fury though, if youre the biggest fight available for a guy, get your worth. Too many guys are getting ripped off because they think a that theyre being done a favour

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
I hope this fight is made soon. Id prefer if they used press conferences and all the media that will follow them after its confirmed to drum up interest. Sky news could turn to a fury 24/7 tv station.
I also think fury will preform alot better than people think. Haye is too cautious against taller boxers. And fury will throw more than Audrey.

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
I don't care how many punches fury throws. Too slow and too flatfooted. When things don't go his way he tends to brawl (ie against Cunningham) and he gets put down because of it. Yes he has recovery powers against light punchers, but if Haye catches him with that right hand then its game over.

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
I reckon Haye did a bit of a Leonard on it and has gotten the choice of gloves, ring size etc in exchange for giving Fury 50%.
To those who believe Fury won't sign just remember there are five million reason why he will. This is a no brainer for Fury.

Would be funny if he refuses to sign so he can fight TT only for haye to turn round offer TT more money leaving fury with nothing

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
Yeh, saw the instagram bit by David Haye. Would've been more interesting if he'd held the contract up to the camera as we don't actually know it was the fight contract, we're just taking David's less than trust-worthy word on it.
Still, as others have said, will piddle myself if Fury pulls out of ANOTHER fight. Haye can only make more money against a K as nobody is as marketable as Fury and Fury can't make more money against anyone as he's given up mandatory status v the K's so will only get a measley 10-15% of a pot which likely be smaller than a UK PPV with Haye.

Re: Haye vs fury - still not confirmed!
But TH if Fury pulls out it cant be classed as a duck. He has a contract with channel 5 so he has to obide by them. Price was to blame for the first duck, neither is too blame though.

The fight will happen and Haye will win. Tyson will give a good account of himself and not quit like a dog.
Is he really ducking Pulev?

Well Ring ranks 8 of its top 10 heavies as European so not a bad level to operate at.

When people say european level they are not talking about european fighters, european level is the level below world level

Unless it's been deleted already I don't notice anything duplicate about a Winchester thread.
