It wasn't a bad toss to win it was a bad call to bat in those conditions

they should have Swann bowling from one end.....and rotate the seamers to see whihc one can start getting some revrse

Scrumpy i think we threw our wickets away abit tbh.. Blame the top 4 batters for that. Our decision was clearly based on having swanny to bowl the last innings

Do not understand cook choosing to bat in the worst of the conditions and handing this perfect day to Aussie.

yes that was a major factor.....given the the pitch was kept dry and some cracks left on it to assist England's clear strength the spin department.

But as msp says, they are scoring so easily they will be 200 ahead before Swann do anything.

The good thing for Australia and bad from Eng's POV......is that every Aussie batter to follow can score some runs....and the new ball is 50 overs away.......so unless they find reverse.......200 more runs are likely before Eng gets a new ball

and anderson finds a bit of reverse to bring comfort for Eng and equality to the situation again

I think 3-1 up here and 5-0 down there seems the most likely now we've seethe difference in batting class.

Apparently Aussie have no tail according to Athers so Aussie are a much stronger team than England.
