10-man shortlist for the 2012-13 Uefa Best Player in Europe award was released today.
 
Last season winner was Andres Iniesta but No Spanish players have been nominated
 
Voted for by a jury composed of Europes top Journalists - Winner will be announced in Monaco on 29/08/13.

Messi and Ronaldo are the best two players on the list. But if we're just going by the past season, I think its only fair to give the award to a German-based player given their success in Europe this season.
I've always thought Muller was very under-rated. Time to give him the props he deserves. king

Huh? Ibrahimovic is an incredible footballer. Easily one of the best fowards around.

Seeing as Messi's the best player in the world, he's my automatic choice. Muller was terrific all season though and looks as if he could become the amazing player we all thought he would at the 2010 World Cup before a bad season after that.

A Bayern player should win it, Messi was amazing as ever but never set the CL a light in the way that the likes of Ribery or Lewandowski did. I went for Ribery.
