david haye hatred!

First topic message reminder :

I can't understand why people on here are so negative towards haye,
As boxing fans surely we should appriciate boxing talant and haye is sheer class
With natural ability snd watching him box should be a joy , I can understand people not likeing him for doing I'm a celeb or programmes with other  celebs but I don't care if he wants to do it it's up to him,
The stick he got for the wlad fight was so over the top he lost on points to an all time great heavy who would stop any other heavy in the world , froch lostv o Kessler and ward but gets praised because he took punches and came out looking bruised and batterd! Haye has never been that kind of fighter and always used reflexes and speed so was never going to go out all guns blazing at wlad, ( who would)

He's not perfect,the inactivity and the ppv but the point is people should be excited that such a talant is back
Not negative  , just my opinion but i like most at men will be supporting him anyway ,

Haha as someone who enjoys pedantry I will correct that to say that he was not proved right (the crux of the issue was that 90% of what he was saying was conjecture and could not be proved right or wrong) he was merely agreed with by the 6 women who had the most important opinions to count.

I said he wouldn't be found guilty..........common practice is defendants have a big say on the jury distribution.........

Fill it with.whites and he's not guilty right off.........Just like OJ and his black majority jury........

Actually, quick question to Truss, do you not work on 12 person jury's in the States? I was shocked when I read it was just 6 women that decided.

Yes, I was rather surprised it was only 6 people as well.

Not been following it Mate......Had no idea it was six..........Then again each state has it's own system....

Forgetting about race and not trying to create the debate again but the reason I believe he was found not guilty is because the state could not prove their case against Zimmerman. Witness statements, dna, police report,s 911 calls by witnesses all went in favour of zimmerman.

People seem to have misinterpreted my views. Views that I was largely asked about, than just promoting.

I'm sure a few tabloids are chucking $$ signs at him for his story..

I think it was more a case of the jurors hands being tied by bad law.

Zimmerman was unquestionably in the wrong, but the real problem is/was 'stand your ground' law. Almost any other State, particularly a non-confederate one, he'd have been convicted.

Zimmerman was unquestionably in the wrong, but the real problem is/was 'stand your ground' law.  Almost any other State, particularly a non-confederate one, he'd have been convicted.

He never pleaded stand your ground defence he waived that and just went along with normal self defense.

It set the scene and was the reason he originally wasn't arrested for 2 months. It provided the context of why it was considered reasonable self-defense. In this country you wouldn't have a hope of claiming that shooting someone in the stomach when they were unarmed and just punching you was self-defense.

As I said, the law and its confederate interpretation are what was wrong.

Would add that maybe the DA has questions to answer, would manslaughter have been a safer conviction?? Wouldn't have to prove intent to kill that way.
