david haye hatred!

I can't understand why people on here are so negative towards haye,
As boxing fans surely we should appriciate boxing talant and haye is sheer class
With natural ability snd watching him box should be a joy , I can understand people not likeing him for doing I'm a celeb or programmes with other  celebs but I don't care if he wants to do it it's up to him,
The stick he got for the wlad fight was so over the top he lost on points to an all time great heavy who would stop any other heavy in the world , froch lostv o Kessler and ward but gets praised because he took punches and came out looking bruised and batterd! Haye has never been that kind of fighter and always used reflexes and speed so was never going to go out all guns blazing at wlad, ( who would)

He's not perfect,the inactivity and the ppv but the point is people should be excited that such a talant is back

Id like to see you in the ring with Fury after the all abuse you give him instead of making up stories about being a boxer or posting us updates on who is on your blocked list. You think a 50 year old Lennox Lewis would beat Fury for heavens sake.

The Klitschkos fight cautiously and Fury has the size, style and heart to beat them. Thats my opinion. I may be wrong, I may be right.

You can't make a sweeping statement like that without backing it up.

Trying to get back on topic for a moment, I can never really understand how someone can 'hate' a boxer. There may be some extreme cases but not one boxer effects me enough for me to actually hate them.

I agree I don't particularly like Tyson fury but his fights (Johnson apart) have been fun to watch even if they do lack quality.

Like wise Haye can be a tool but the Chisora fight was entertaining and I enjoyed a fair few of his cruiserweight fights. If he begins to fight a little more regularly then I can start to forget his bulls**t. He does actually come across fairly well when talking about other weight divisions.

Most boxers, especially active ones will have their fair share of supporters and detracters. Those who rate them highly and those who may not.
Mayweather, Paquaio, Klitschko's, Ward etc.
Non of these guys are universally loved or appreciated and Haye isnt going to be an exception to that rule.

You seem to be getting a lot of predictions wrong when it comes to the klitschkos and their possible opponents.

It's not the getting the result wrong that is funny, everyone does that, but to think that Haye would steam forward like Hatton wear Wlad down and make him quit, what on earth was he basing that on?

What predictions have been wrong? That they fight sparring partners and rubbish opponents? These are facts if you look at their last opponents, not predictions. People seem to be getting alot of predictions wrong about Fury. And looking back over some old threads about the Klitschko and Haye match I can see not many at all predicted Klitschko would win on points. Most people picked Klitschko or Haye to win by knock out so I am not the only one who was wrong.

Wlad is facing povetkin who is considered the number 3/4 hw in the world (between him and haye who is 3rd and 4th).

There were several people predicting Wlad would have too much for Haye, one being Rowley. He has also given his opinion, backed up by facts, on what he thinks of a match up between Wlad and Fury. Yes but if you look back over past predictions for the fights on the threads I posted there you will see how wrong the majority of people were. Only a very small minority of people predicted how the fight would go. If you use predictions like that as a basis for what people know or dont know then not many people would know what they are on about. Its easy to get predictions wrong. Plenty of people got the prediction for the Haye match against Klitschko badly wrong.

How have I been dismissive of other peoples arguments? Unless by dismissive you mean I havent changed my mind and opinion. People are entitled to their own opinion and I am entitled to mine. Rowleys prediction there is that Klitschko would knock Haye out. He didnt come close to knocking him out. Im not saying this to prove he he is always wrong but to show that everybody can get predictions wrong. It isnt easy to predict how a fight will go.

It's more the fact you say things that have no facts to back up eg klitschkos duck dangerous fighters. When people tell you they have always fought their mandatories and the biggest challenges out there including Haye and Povetkin and Lewis you just dismiss it.

You think Fury will beat klitschko that is fair enough but stop saying klitschko is ducking fury because there is no evidence to back that up. The fact he hasn't offered him a fight is not evidence klitschko is ducking him.

Klitschko was the massive favourite at the betting shops.

Klitschko was not a massive favourite. He was a small favourite. And there were plenty of people that thought Haye would win. Turns out he lacked the size and style. If it was easy to predict then how come only a couple of people managed to guess Klitschko would win on points?

From my memory he was a 1-6 favourite which is pretty big. I shall double check now and post links, was 2 years ago so I could be wrong.

Klitschko to win by points: 7:2
Haye to win by points : 11:1
Klitschko to win 8:13
haye to win 9:5

Klitschko was a big favourite according to the betting shops. Comparing the win on points odds if you put £1 on Klit to win you would win £3.50, If you bet £1 on Haye to win you would win £11.

I dont think Klitschko was all that big a favourite against Haye. He was favourite alright, but Haye was less than 2/1 to win. In boxing terms very much a live underdog.

An awful lot of people thought Haye would win. Seems like its only after the fight has happened you get people claiming it was easy to predict or that Klitschko was always going to win. If it was that easy then how did so few predict the fight would be so boring and end up being on points?

Doesn't that prove just how good that klitschko victory was? If loads of people backed haye, haye must have been very good and klitschko managed to beat a very good fighter very easily. Surely this shows how good klitschko is.

Haye put more effort into trashtalking in the 3 year build up to the Wlad fight that he did in the 12 rounds of boxing. Chisora showed heart...Haye showed his toe

If Haye was the same size as Klitschko he would knock him out. For a boxer to have such a size advantage over another and box as cautiously as Klitschko did is not impressive to me. I like Haye I think he's good for boxing I don't know about the 'sheer class'... like most boxers he brings criticism upon himself 'toe incident' etc. Also whoever gave that prediction above might aswell stick to their day job lol as the things said were so bias and the hatred for Klitchko was apparent.

I could understand where his frustration lies, but its not the K bro's fault that no one out their can test them to an elite level.

Fury needs to use his size, of course. But Fury will be looking to bully Haye and smash him. Klitschko just wanted to poke at him from a safe differance. For a guy that was so much bigger it was really a pretty poor show. If Haye was the far bigger size advantage do you think he would be jabbing away at Wlad? He would go in and take him out and thats what Fury will try to do to Haye.
