I really think Fury is going to get very dirty in this fight.

Well I don't think anyone thinks that this will go to the scorecards!

Haven't we already had one of the these? More along the lines of Who do you want to win, though. I voted don't care. This one it will be Haye by KO, but only because it is the most likely result, little toe excepting.

Haye by KO inside 3 rounds.
Haye's a puncher and Fury got floored by the pillow fisted Cunningham.

Whilst convinced of the Haye KO, I don't think it'll be the blow-out some are expecting and think Fury will get off the deck at least once before the fight is stopped. Probably circa 8th round.

There is always that element of doubt with these fights. Fury for all his many faults has surprised me on more than one occasion! i.e. won fights I thought he would have lost (as opposed to jumping out and saying boo). I always say that this time it is too much of an ask. No! I am not going into a second guess spiral at this time! Haye in the first half of the fight

Re: Haye v Fury Poll
One of the few people on here who thinks it will be closer than people think.........
1. Haye will be rusty as he's been out for 15 months........
2. Fury in size is very similar to Wlad unlike Chisora... and offers the same problems albeit with more fragility.......Haye is bound to be scarred from Wlad and Fury may rehash some of those memories.....
3, He might have been useless against Cunningham however he still finished him with one shot albeit illegal..
4. Haye is a small heavy and knows it only takes a Fury swing to finish it........
Haye will be cautious..........and Fury may have time to bully early.......

God, I hate myself for saying this, but I agree with Truss on this one!
Re: Haye v Fury Poll
There are good points in this, even with the annoying ... after each sentence. (Obviously wheezing from steroid over use). The fight actually has the hallmarks of a classic snooze fest, but I think Haye generally comes in prepared and so will bomb him out early. The longer it goes on, the better are Fury's chances for all the reasons above.

Finally.....someon who knows the difference between slander and libel!
Still struggle to see where you always get the 'scared Haye' card from. Never saw anything that made me think Haye was scared of Wlad (other than looking slightly tense/nervous in the ring waiting for him to enter), it was just that Wlad was too good and Haye realised this after about 4 rounds. Valuev was bigger and more imposing the Wlad and Haye wasn't scared there, think Haye was just shocked how mobile/athletic WK was for someone so big.
Fury will be a cross between the two. Not quite as slow and lumbering as Valuev but nowhere near as quick footed as Wlad in keeping out of range.

Nothing to suggest that was out of fear tho.
He had a game plan that involved staying out of range. That bit worked, for the most part, tho the rest failed. Against Valuev the same game plan worked in its entirety.

Look to me the fact he wouldn't engage and got outworked by a guy not known for his incessant work rate suggests he was intimidated..........

Alot of people are writing Fury off. People have been underestimating him for a long time. This is a very match to call. I think Furys greater size, strength and heart will give him the advantage.

Re: Haye v Fury Poll
They are significant advantages. It is whether Fury has enough experience to use them that is being questioned. He hasn't fought many people and has only recently moved up in quality. Haye hasn't fought many times either, but has operated at a top level for several years. It is this that makes most people gve Haye the edge. Fury has proven me wrong before, so I will be the first to hold my hands up and say I was wrong should he win. I just think we will be seeing Price vs Fury this time next year and not for a world title fight or eliminator either.

Re: Haye v Fury Poll
That only goes so far Winchester.
if Fury is getting dropped and wobbled by a cruiserweight with literally no power, then Haye knocks him cold with the first meaningful right hand he lands on his face.
standby for an early KO for your boy.
Haye via KO 3 rounds.

Re: Haye v Fury Poll
Whenever I think about it I see this going the same way as Haye vs Enzo, Haye gets caught in the first, which gives him something to think about, then once Haye ups it a bit in the next round, catches him with a counter, flurry of punches & all over.
But, as they say styles make fights & Fury could have all the right attributes to give Haye nightmares.
I keep thinking of the Fury we saw beat Kevin johnson, don't know about you lot but I was surprised at the shape Fury was in for that fight, looked like he'd really trained hard for it, then he put in a performance behind the jab & used all that 6ft9 heigh & reach to his advantage & cruised to victory, I didn't think he could box like that. I'm not comparing Johnson to Haye, just saying he adjusted his game when he needed to & it worked.
Jump forward to Cunningham & Fury looked flabby again, brawled & got caught unnecessarily.
It's true what his camp say about the knockdown in that fight, he was caught square footed & the punch actually hit him across his nose, no where near the chin or temple therefore it didn't really hurt him, legit knock down yes, but not a damaging one.
maybe it effected him not having uncle Pete in his corner that night, i don't think so, I think he underestimated Cunningham to an extent & thought he could walk through & beat him easy.
Fury could be one of those fighters who only up their game when they have to, everyone knows Haye & how he fights & if they come up with a plan & Tyson sticks to it he could have the beating of Haye, especially if he jabs jabs jabs then holds & leans, pushes the smaller guy round the ring a bit, Haye's inactivity & stamina problems could really become exposed, especially if Haye's team are thinking tehy'll KO him early.
Another thing is preparation, particularly sparring, must be really hard for Haye to get partners to match someone as big as Fury, think about it it must be much easier to find 6'2 punchbags than 6'9 ones, think this could've been part of the prob for Haye vs Wlad, even if you do get partners big enough they're not going to have the skill to get you back so that generates a false sense of security, Haye thinking he can get in & out & do as he likes as he did in sparring then when he's in with Wlad & the speed & skills r there it's all different, Valuev didnt have that speed / skill so didnt matter, then again maybe it won't against Fury, depends on Fury's tactics.
I'm more a a Haye fan than Fury, & want Haye to win but I think it might not be as easy as everyone thinks

You insult the klitschkos and say they only win because they are big yet you are saying that fury might win because of his size but you are not insulting fury saying he only wins cos he is bigger.

Think this will be quick and brutal, Fury will be flat out on his back in 2 rounds and the world will rejoice at not having to hear him sing again.
