Quigg vs Salinas
An agreement has been reached for a fight between Scott Quigg and Yoandris Salinas which will be for the vacant WBA title.
Seems Eddie has delivered for Scott very quickly.

Paper title.
It's the WBA 'regular' title.
Rigondeaux has the real WBA title.

I haven't seen Salinas fight so can't comment.
Is the fight in the UK?

Re: Quigg vs Salinas
I'd not heard of Salinas but after a quick bit of research this looks like it could be a potential banana skin for Quigg. Salinas has fought a decent amount of his career at Featherweight so you'd expect him to be big at Super Bantam and he's also Cuban so expect him to be good. Decent amateur career and he beat Zou Shiming as well back in the amateurs, a long time ago but that still takes some talent.

Unbeaten Cuban and won bronze and silver medals at amateur level (not at major competitions like Olympics or world championships though) so there must be a bit of pedigree
Quigg can be a little stiff so a slick fighter could give him problems

Perfect test for him, great decision by Eddie Hearn, seems to be testing his fighters very well.

Don't agree Alex. Look at Kell Brook in terms of being tested!knocked some bum out with a jab, scraped past Jones, world title bout fell through, couldn't be bothered making weight as he stated himself, then rematches Jones in a ten rounder.
