Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
Has anyone seen Sharknado?
"the cable disaster flick about a freak tornado which triggers scores of man-eating fish to rain down on the residents of Los Angeles."
Apparently it sent twitter into a tail spin and a sequel has even been commissioned. Is it as bad as it seems? Or just a bit of fun ala Snakes on a Plane?

I haven't seen it but I have heard lots about it.
I know Tara Reid is in it and she has to be the most woodenest of all wooden actresses to grace the screen. Relatively attractive though, so shes not all bad.

Personally would reserve judgement on Reid until I have heard Michaels assessment as it is a racing cert he will have had her.

More chance of him having stuck it to Mike Reid.

I think that is being a little kind to it really. But a low budget B-movie can be lots of fun if approached right so I don't really want to pre-judge

Looks a bit downmarket for a clever chap like myself, I prefer more serious motion pictures such as this:

What with everyone here being well versed in the cinematic industry, I assume we've all viewed the greatest scene in movie history?

Re: Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
Thanks for the heads up for that Kenny.
Some of the worst acting I've ever seen, a terrible plot, a script that was probably written in half an hour and set pieces that looked ridiculous. I loved it. I always enjoy a terrible monster movie and this ticked all the boxes.
Tara Reid looks awful these days. Don't do drugs kids.

Re: Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
- spoiler:
- I seen a clip of it where somebody jumped into a sharks open jaws armed with a chainsaw and cut himself free and saved a previous victim. After seeing that I couldn't bring myself to watch the rest

Re: Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
That was almost certainly the highlight of the film Gazzy! I'm glad I didn't know that was going to happen as it would have spoilt the shock that a writer thought that was a good idea.

Luckily the drugs don't seem to have affected her cognitive ability. Or do they...?

Having just caught up with this thread, the film was indeed awesome.Mind the windows Tino. wrote:I haven't seen it but I have heard lots about it.

And I think Tino means he fancies his relatives or something like that
Re: Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
I watched this film last night and I will never be the same again. The chainsaw-your-way-out-of-the-shark scene was awe-inspiring.
This film just HAS to be watched!!!!

I do have a cousin who is very attractive. I wouldn't say I fancy her, but I wouldn't turn down the chance to rummage through her underwear drawer either.Adam D wrote:

Re: Sharknado - Has anyone seen it?
Only got to the bit where a guy clubbed a shark with a bar stool and another blew up a shark with an oxygen tank and the resulting carnage left the shark looking like a a 1920's exploding cigar.
Couldn't really get to grips with the fact that from one angle the sun was cracking the flags and it was relatively nice weather yet fifteen seconds later there were waves 200 feet high crashing around and hurling ferris wheels into buildings.
Utter dross and not something I feel I need to punish myself with by watching.

Not been to Barrow I take it. On the odd occasion you can see the sun through the horizontal rain that is.DAVE667 wrote:
