Leon Barnett could be the best signing they make this season. That's a worrying statement for Wigan fans!

I just don't get it. Nought wrong with playin long but their midfield is not built for it at all

My pet hate is seeing a centre back with a full back (or any player for that matter) available yet still hitting it long?

Why risk losing possession? Never understood it.

It's a legitimate tactic

Fair enough with 10-15 to go and you need a goal, then throw big lads forward and ping into the area, ball can fall anywhere and could lead to a goal

But during the game, simply pass it around, keep possession, how i have always been taught to play. Swansea and Man City set the example.

Might be legitimate but makes no sense nonetheless.

I do find possession football tedious after 5mins though. As pretty as Barca's football is, when they come up against a good defence, it can become a real stalemate. Luckily that doesn't happen too often!

I hate to say it, but Forest are looking real good this season. Could finally be their year!

A lot of teams in Spain use long ball too once you get past the top 5-10 teams.

Forest have spent a lot of money and have a big budget (sorry for using the B Word) so there is a huge amount of pressure for them to get play offs. Last season was a failure for them and was a painful end to the season.

Forest will go up this season.

I genuinely hope so now. Majewski was going to sign for Albion at one point, and I like Lansbury too.

Yeah England is apparently one of the best for teams all the way through the league playing short passes as opposed to long passes, think only German was better out of the top 5 leagues. Once you get past the top 3-4 Spanish sides they get considerably worse. La Liga is massively overrated.

Quality game of football.

Felt for 60 minutes Forest did their job perfectly, then McGugan as he is wont to do pulled a special from nowhere, and Watford got their tails up. Darlow had to be at his best, and Almunia had to make a few good saves.

Great advert for the Championship, I'll take a point from Watford anyday.

Exactly, they have a big budget as well. They got outclassed by a team that could only just put out 11 fit players.

Bolton looked a poor side. Tierney and Spearing were the 2 worse players. Tierney couldn't handle Buckley and Lua Lua and he offered very little going forward. How Spearing ever played for Liverpool ill never know.

I don't really know what Freeman did to merit getting the Bolton job, yes he had Palace on a good run, but that was always going to come to an end. Can see him getting sacked within the next 2 weeks.

Tbf the 5 Bolton fans i saw yesterday gave me a really low opinion of them. Not just because they were all wearing a football t-shirt with Nike/Adidas trackies (something i wore when i was 8) and also drinking Carling tins (yuck) they just looked nothing less than pikeys. Also why o why were they singing "We only hate man united" can't imagine united could care 2 shi*s about Bolton! 

However the video did make me laugh, not just because i hate FreeDman but because i did actually find it quite funny! 

Bolton are a good football club and im sure they will pick it up soon, they have some experienced players there and i think they need a kick up the backside. But they really did remind me of Wolves yesterday, a bunch of has beens and just looked a poor side who got outclassed. Jay Spearing was dreadful. David N'Gog is a donkey and there back 4 is just very slow and clumsy.

So Barnsley have signed Butland on loan, and are going to be getting David Fox on loan from us.

Two top quality loan signings there I must. Foxy baby is different gravy at that level
