Paul Ince shoved an official, threatened to knock him out, thinks a 5 game stadium ban is very harsh. What a Muppet

Hmmm not sure how he can think that's a harsh punishment, i think its not harsh enough!

Bit of a surprise really, as Ince usually comes across as a good bloke both off the pitch and on the sidelines. He was very honest when we smashed them 6-1.

I was going to ask your opinion on Mowbray on another thread then saw this! Judging by the score today I'm guessing your thoughts haven't changed. A lot of my mates are Boro fans (as I'm half way between there and Whitby) they all seem to be on the same page. He was terrible in his interview yesterday. He basically said he wasn't bothered about not starting a season strong it's only how they finish it that matters. Not very good if you don't have anything to play for by then.

He could have that attitude if the club actually ever finished a season strongly under him but they dont! 3 wins last year from January through till the end of the season tells you everything you need to know. 

Here is our 2nd half of the season record for past few seasons:

2011-12: won 6 of last 22 (collecting 22 from a possible 66 points) - This after losing just 3 up till December!

2012-13: won just 3 of last 21 (collecting 12 from possible 63 - This after occupying 3rd place in December!

Whether it is conceding late goals or starting off slowly Middlesbrough are constantly finding ways to throw away games. Once again we had more than enough chances to get something from the game. We had more possession and shots at goal, something we have done in every game bar 1 this season, yet find ourselves losing to a team that had up until today only scored 5 goals at home!

I have actually written a letter to Steve Gibson stating my real concerns for the club and asked him just what he plans to do. I have wrote to the club on 3 previous occassions, only once to lambast them (under Strachan) and have always had a response so hopefully will get one this time round.

My real issue is that Mowbray is coming out week on week saying the same thing, we need to be scoring goals and stop conceding silly ones in the last minutes of games. He has been at the club long enough now and should have these problems sorted especially when it comes to strikers who can take there chances (something we have struggled with for past 3 seasons). 

6 wins from the last 33 is not good enough whichever way it tries to be painted!

Ipswich played them yesterday, we had the most chances but they were solid and took their only good chance to win 1-0. Dyche has got a good balance in that team so they should be around the playoffs at the end of the season.

When i have seen them on the TV, they have looked a mid table team at best. They do have an ok defense, but they do seem to hoof it a lot.

When i saw them at the amex, i don't think they had one shot. They made a lot of fouls. Gave the ball away and there hoofing didn't work that day.

Good header by Rudy Austin. Leeds have battered Birmingham this half, Birmingham could well go down this season.

Burnley top of the league makes me sick. Sean Dyche fair play great manager. Always get the shi*e side that does well though Palace, Hull, Bristol city, Blackpool in recent years.

Very poor goalkeeping from Allsop.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Reading, they could be getting there first win of the season. Matty Fryatt is the type of player i wished we signed, he has scored again.

Sounds like, tom is keeping the scoreline 1-0. Buckley had a rocket from 20 yards but there keeper made a superb shot.

Sounds like a decent game.

Hmmm, they have a lot of class players, just not clicking for some reason this season. Vydra was there key man last season.

Deeney's not hit anywhere near the form of last year for them, and Chalobah is a miss as well as Vydra

Chalobah looked amazing for Watford last season. Poor for Forest this season. I still rate the player highly and know he will be a big hit in the future for Chelsea. There is a reason why they gave him a 5 year deal.
