Just sharing.
Hell, it's summer.
Lions, Fat Gatland, BOD, George Norf, are all fading memories.
So, here is something to remember. It might even scratch your brain to remember from time to time.

Okay!

That was just.......unnecessary!

I could have lived my entire life happily and blissfully unencumbered by that image!

Its amazing what horrors exist in the natural world. Thankfully most of them are too small to hurt us and luckily also live far away from these Islands.

Now the poor old Australians, besides losing in the Rugby and taking a pasting in the cricket also have to share their home with some seriously nasty creatures. Crocs, spiders, sharks, snakes and god knows what else. Starting to feel a bit sorry for them to be honest...

The Aussies even get pasted and knocked around from some Kiwi birds which somehow manage to cross the Tasman a few times each year.
Scary place that.

Ok doc, I'm trying my best to interpret your post. Even though rugby is mentioned in passing in the middle of it, I can't help but feel you are making parallels with flesh eating maggots and rugby.

And then idea ...

The noises in the tourist's head were flesh eating maggots. The noises in my head made me do it.

The flesh eating maggots are a metaphor: WUMs. The noises in our heads are the harmful words they speak and the liquid discharge they produce represents the internecine conflict in which we inevitably engage that can only end in our own downfall. So instead of engaging these harmful WUMs we must ask you to surgically remove them from us.

Doc for MOD. notworthy

No? Headscratch

OK I need coffee to get me thinking more about this one.

Ok...I get it.  Kia is definitely on the right track but his conclusion is too generalised.

The poor woman is Wales.
Her ear is Gatland
The New World Army Screw Worm fly is BOD
The maggots eating at poor Gatland's flesh is the Irish fans....

?

Am I right? Wink
