Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

In a very low scoring encounter against the Memphis Hound Dogs, -1 from the Jets has me .5 behind with Tavon Austin still to play. Just need 6 yards out of him to keep the season alive but I don't think it'll happen.

Squeaked out a win, despite Pete Carroll trolling me by only giving Marshawn Lynch 8 carries against the frickin Rams!

My top 2 scoring RBs, top scoring WR and top scoring TE were all on the bench. Great team selection by me this week

I was debating starting Nick Foles too, but then thought I would wait and see before the Sunday night game how close the matchup was, as I thought Keenum would help me negate any points from Andre .. just wasn't expecting him to go for 40!!

My undefeated record is on the line tonight .. I have Lacy and TITTH has Forte and a 1/2 point lead .. going to be close!

A TY Hilton masterclass and an unfortunate injury to Rodgers has left me and the Rams by the wayside at 3-6, don't think there is much hope from there. Just as Gronk, Peterson and Spiller were getting going. My grip on the trophy is almost completely gone at this stage.

I read the write up of the CHIvGB and saw that Lacy outrushed Forte and both got a TD so I figured you had won... didn't account for receiving yards

The miracle of last week was for nought, a shocking performance this time around with only one player getting into double figures. Unless Gronk breaks quite a number of records with Gano hitting 5/6 field goals the Rams are down and out.

Was just looking at tie breakers across various leagues. In my ESPN one the tiebreaker is points for over the season. Here it is H2H. Do you not think it's fairer when it is points for rather than H2H? Seems like a playoff berth or seeding can end up relying solely on one week rather than a 14 week season? The more points you have put up over 14 weeks the better your team is my thinking.

I'd tend to agree with that one.

What bugs me is trying to figure out what the second and third tie breakers actually are with 100% certainty.
Often the H2H thing doesn't come into it because you have a multi way tie where not everyone has a H2H matchup (or the results are spread evenly)

I can't believe how my team sucks so bad (and to a lesser extent that the Sri Lanka Rams have suffered - that one is more injuries) given how much we dominated the league last year in terms of scoring... I'm around 500 points less than last year with two to play this year.
Speaking of which BamBam has already outscored my team from last year!

I've always done pretty well in these 606 leagues, this is number 5 (?) and i've made the semi finals or better in all... but i'm now going to end up with an unwanted number one draft pick which will make my keeper decision much more interesting... The team sucks, If I keep any of my theoretically "better" players then they are overvalued at number 1 overall (Rice, Bryant) and i'd have to wait until number 24 to pick again...

Bit early for a retrospective review of keepers, but (so far) I'm well happy to have kept Brees (2nd best QB) and the 49ers D (6th best D), less so Fitz (15th best WR)...but overall i'm pleased my keepers haven't let me down Very Happy

This is by far my best 606 season to date, I just hope it can lead to a championship!

I've basically traded away all depth, so any injuries at WR in particular and I'm screwed!

I wish I could blame injuries but sadly the team just isn't good enough. I had Spiller, Morris and Peterson last year, I currently have Peterson, Helu and Leonard. I had Julio Jones, Steve Smith, Antonio Brown and Eric Decker last year whilst I currently have Desean Jackson, Torrey Smith, Kenny Stills and Tavon Austin. I do still like my team but I just wish we could've had more keepers last year. I miss last season. Even with last season's team though I'd still be struggling to cope with Bambam's juggernaut. That is a fine looking team. I hope to return to that sort of level next season.

My keepers were Doug Martin - average and injured, Lamar Miller - not very good and AJ Green - ok season but not spectacular. I am now in #TankForTeddy mode.
