One good thing about it would be the would all become plurals. Is a football team singular or plural? Should it be Man U is the champions or are the champions?

The term has been Head Coach for years. There's no real "managers" anymore. Just teams of coaches.Hulking_up wrote:I noticed sky use Coach in their captions instead of Manager.

PEDs are for Major League Baseball and Richard Sherman!
I wouldn't say that NFL & NHL players don't use help to get over bangs and knocks but I don't think everybody does. I mean, these guys take so much punishment even I would consider taking some sort of illegal painkiller or muscle healer if I played.

Re: Total Americanization of the Premier League
because of one defeat to fulham? if losing one winnable game and dropping one place defines choking, than we need to assess the definition or look at the entire league, because most of them will be "chokers"
and this was in just a single season. if this happened year on year, then fair enough. if youre gunna label us anything, then its nearly men. i think weve done alright considering most of the top 6 have around 100m to spend every season

No, because every year they spend most of their time taunting Arsenal with 'mid the gap' jokes, only to always chuck the CL spot away come season close. Hence the 'chocking cockerels' joke.

British identity doesn't need any Americanism/s. We deal with our own.TRUSSMAN66 wrote:You can learn from America...Embrace our ideas.....and some of our proud sporting legacy...may rub off on you..
