surrey vs Derbyshire Falcons YB40

Surrey have named a fourteen man squad for the Yorkshire Bank 40 game against the Derbyshire Falcons at the Kia Oval on Sunday.
Arun Harinath and George Edwards are both included in a YB40 squad for the first time this season.
Steven Davies, Jade Dernbach, Jon Lewis and Zafar Ansari are all rested.

The good news is that we kept them to under 300.
The bad news is only by 6.

4 wickets for the Brain but very expensive with far too many wides and no balls. Decent effort from Jewell, 1-20 off 4 including the wicket of Chanderpaul. Tremlett only given 5 overs (0-31).

Doubt we'll get within a 100 ....

I was totally wrong. An amazing win. Excellent batting performance with several very fine individual performances from start to finish. Hopefully this will inspire us to greater things in the other two formats ....

Just leaving the ground now a amazing innings from Wilson only got when he run out of puff :-)
