Baggio scored a cracker that World Cup vs Czechoslovakia though, as my memory serves.

Yeah, that was Italia 90. T'was the tournament he made his name.

USA 94 was the one he was injured but Italy were reliant on him. They got to the final and played for penalties, only for Baggio to sky his and Baresi missed his too

My biggest memory of 1994 is Letchkov scoring a diving header with his bald head.

Italia 90 was the best World Cup ever:

Roger Milla

England's run to 4th place

Italy and the brief emergence of Toto Schillaci (both he and Baggio started the tournament on the bench!)

My first recollection of great European players such as Andreas Herzog, Toni Polster, Tomáš Skuhravý, Abel Balbo, François Omam-Biyik, Marius Lăcătuş, Florin Răducioiu, Ilie Dumitrescu, Gica Popescu, Stefan Schwarz, Tomas Brolin, Jorginho, Carlos Valderrama, Freddy Rincón, René Higuita, Thomas Häßler, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Robert Prosinečki, Dejan Savićević, Robert Jarni, Enzo Francescoli, Rubén Sosa, Daniel Fonseca, Richard Witschge...so many players that formed my early memories of football.

Dejan Stefanovic - what a player. And Ruben Sosa!

Here is a name for you Azzy. It would have tried to sign this player in every pretend manager game if I played them in 1990...

Yeah, he was good too. Shame his time at Marseille never panned out, he could have gone down as one of the great Yugoslavs of all time. He'll never get the recognition that Stankovic gets, or Suker, or even someone like Aljosa Asanovic.

How about Mihajlovic? I used to see him all the time on Gazetta Football Italia on Saturday mornings. Always banging in free kicks, or spitting on someone.

Sinisa Mihajlovic was an enigma, played LB, CB, DM, LM, CM, and either scored a world-beating free kick, stuck in a 40 yard screamer, or went mental. He was like Roy Keane but with talent.

You have Schurrle as a RW, but he's better on the left wing. I want Schurrle, so I will offer you Navas in a straight swap.

One manager's incorrect opinion shouldn't be the basis of player ratings.

Navas was almost certainly rated as the best right winger in the league before. Schurrle was rated okay and now they're both in the premier league. The honest reason is so that I can put Schurrle LW and Pedro RW on their stronger sides, as I have two right wingers.

My honest answer is I rate Schurrle and Navas pretty much equal, it was just convenient for me to have a LW instead of a RW. If you look back, I think GSC and Marky had Navas, he was really rated as one of the best wingers in the world. Neither Navas or Schurrle have done much in the premier league yet.

But that's fair enough, I'm not going to force you into dealing today. Not even with my cute face Wink

Your last two posts could have placed our club in media difficulties. I implore you, don't be a keyboard warrior and defy me. The club cannot afford a scandal.

On a side note, Sami Khedira is settling in well Whistle

I'll watch what I say from now on but stopping me saying what's on my mind is like caging the great white shark.

I see Khedira has been getting very friendly with Schurrle,  for our next away match can you make sure every player has his own room.

I'll do that, although it does mean that we won't be able to afford dinner for all the players that night. Some of them will have to share their spag bol.

I'd want more than £5m for Flamini, as he's been a big influence on Arsenal's season so far, something around the £8m mark would be required to tempt me.

I only have Nike Hi Tops.
Got 2 x Dunks, Terminators & a pair of limited edition Blazers which were from USA.
I was looking.going through all my trainers the other week & realised I havent bough a pair of trainers in this country for 6 years now. (Ive bought Pimsoles etc but not trainers).
As my cuz lives in States whenever family go out there or she comes back I get a pair.

Im not going till July but ive already got a list of people who want trainers lol. Wouldnt be hard for you to collect them from me being in Brum.

I wanted both players before you went and signed them. I need a leader at the back and Terry fits the bill.

I can think of a player who you'd prefer to John Terry at centre back in any case who is available, and as for Schurrle surely you'd prefer to get two players in for £10m as you have a couple of weaknesses in your XI.
