Bull, Brandon Marshall is BETTER than Victor Cruz. This means that it is not a good idea for me to just agree to even a straight swap deal, never mind one that adds probably my 2nd best RB in too!

not that it really matters, but giving them titles would add a little flavour

Re: 606v2 East League 2013 - NFL.com Fantasy Football League Homepage
Lads, re the division name changes, I'm really sorry but it turns out that they can only be changed pre-draft. Can also only amend which division teams are in pre-draft. Can understand the last bit but I'd have thought for something as trivial as division names you could change them whenever you want.
Anyways, I liked the previously proposed idea of calling them The Good, The Bad and The Ugly with each team being placed in them according to their finishing position from the previous season i.e. -
The Good - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
The Bad - 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th
The Ugly - 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th
Would propose doing this from next season. If anyone doesn't play next season then their replacement would just slot into the vacated place.
Sound OK?

Seriously, some teams didn't score 60 points last year, 15 games still to be played and I'm down 68.38 - 0?
Fair do's it is what it is and its not all over, but that's a mountain to climb. Thankfully I am only up against Manning once this season - the AFC West teams each get him twice!

Anyone else's fantasy season looking bleak?
I have literally no running backs. Two are back ups, one is an injured back up, the other fumbled the ball twice and will probably get dropped now.
I will trade anything for a starting caliber RB!

Well its kind of started bleak. Without facing Manning this week, I'd probably have already won, even having left Johnson on the bench thinking Manuel wouldn't have a good game. Now I just need 39 points of RGIII tonight. No problem...
But seriously, I don't think anyone is making a lot of points out of RB's at this stage of the season. All but one of my receivers scored more points than both my back's put together and they are both starters!

I meant it as a general comment on the overall lack of rushing this week. With one notable exception.
Besides I can't be too down. Managed a couple of good FA pickups. Anyone wanna trade me a decent RB?

Big improvement on week 1 but still worried about lack of RB depth. Also thinking of canning Rice as he's been all but invisible for the Hawks. That'll teach me to miss the start of the draft!

Re: 606v2 East League 2013 - NFL.com Fantasy Football League Homepage
I'm in 3 leagues this year and after all my drafts were complete my East league was the one I was least happy with.... after 2 games I'm 2-0 in this league and 0-2 in the other two!

I lost again to slip to a Steelers-like 0-2. On the plus side, it meant I could get some RB depth via the waiver wire with Starks and Jacobs. I need an RB so badly...

I was thinking the same but then Bradshaw and Lynch both stepped up this week.sodhat wrote:I lost again to slip to a Steelers-like 0-2. On the plus side, it meant I could get some RB depth via the waiver wire with Starks and Jacobs. I need an RB so badly...
One thing I would say is that NFL need to allow 1 RB in FFL instead of forcing 2. With passing being so prevalent these days, not to mention a number of running QB's, finding two RB's to score you points is as much luck as judgement.
