So which day is the draft guys? Oh and what will the draft order be?

I'll give it the rest of the weekend and then look to firm up a draft date by Tuesday. I reckon that would be a reasonable length of time to give everyone to have their say.

Re the draft order - I'm going to give Dominic Dicoco until Monday to respond to a PM I've sent him and then hopefully, if he's still willing, I'll pass his team over to CJB if Dominic isn't coming back/doesn't reply. Once CJB is on board, I'll set the draft order.

Are you still up for it CJB?

BTW, if anyone wants to change their team name then crack on and do it. Just give me a shout on here so it makes it easier for me when putting together the new 2014 league thread.

Ok, so just another wee update. I didn't hear back from Dom so I've removed him as a team owner and sent CJB an invite to join. Once he takes care of the necessaries, we can crack on with setting our draft date/time.

Just a last wee plea to all who haven't stated a preference yet to let me know by tomorrow which one of the dates listed previously that they would like it to be.

Looking like Thursday 28th and Tuesday 2nd are emerging as the preferred dates. Will see if either breaks clear of the other tomorrow and look to set the date tomorrow night.

Okay then lads, looking back through all the posts it seems that next Thursday is the preferred day for the draft.... although I'm a little worried about Soddy having to cancel a date!

So, just to confirm, our draft will be held on:

Thursday 28th August at 8.30pm

I've also set the draft order - randomised it 3 times just to make it super-random. It means that the all important and long-awaited draft order is:-

1. Rushden and Diamantis
2. Too many touchdowns
3. Carry Hungry Hippos
4. At last a QB
5. Shepton Mallet Matadors
6. 2 Addai 4
7. Rex on the Beach
8. RG3's Super Socks
9. Almost Perfect
10. The Travelling Medicine Show
11. Raiders of the Lobbed Pass
12. Greendale Human Beings
13. Second Hand a Secondary
14. Bradford's Steaming Rams

As in previous years, the order will reverse in the second round, i.e Bradford's Steaming Rams will have the 1st pick of the 2nd round, Second Hand Secondary will have the 2nd pick and so on. It'll then revert back to the order above for the 3rd round and keep alternating like that to the end. I know you all know all of that but just thought I best point it out again!

I was late to last years and missed the early rounds, but got a little lucky with my auto draft. Still missed out on a quality RB which cost me in the end. I just got to hope where I am has good wireless, the missus doesn't bitch me about it, and my tablet browser can cope!
