The Azzrentice Season 2 - Task 1

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. You are gathered here as 11 of the most talented young fake online football managers in this country. Over the coming weeks I will be laying on a series of football-related tasks, all of which are designed to test your football knowledge, historical understanding, and creativity.

Which brings me on to the first task. I'm going to split you into two teams - Team Fergie and Team Moyes - and the first task is quite simple. You have to pick a 23-man squad that would compete in the English Premier League.

To select your squad, I will allow you to pick one player from each Premier League team, plus 3 players from another English league (any of the Championship, League One or League Two).

To clarify, you may select just one player from each team for your squad.

The team with the best squad (in my eyes) will win, and from the losing team, one of you will be fired.

Now, I will tell you what the task is.

Is the squad purely based on ability now or things like potential, TM Value etc.

That's what I'm getting to now.

Trebs and Sodhat, here's the twist - you will select team members from the list of managers in the OP. But...you will be picking each other's teams!

So Trebs will start by picking someone to go on Soddy's team, then Soddy picks for Trebs, until all managers are selected.

Trebs - first selection is with you.

Not TM value, as that's not a good judge of ability or potential.

I want to see ability, potential, a good character mix, players that would play well together, everything that you would want at your club. Just imagine you're building your own club, and pick accordingly.

Zidane has the ability to win games on his own but he can also cost you victory. You'll never get a 7/10 from Zidane. He needs the right person to manage him and Mighty is capable of it, this can be a masterstroke signing.
