Similar types though Hearns is much better.........Garcia fight was similar to the Barkley fight...

C'mon Truss the comparison is ridiculous. Khan is nothing like Hearns. He doesn't have a jab like Tommy, doesn't have a right hand like Tommy , doesn't move like him, in fact his absolutely nothing like him.

Khan has been outboxed, Peterson beat him on PTS & Garcia was beginning to time Khan after 5 mins action , Barkley was almost ready to be stopped.

Juice-boy just head-down charged him relentlessly, no classy boxing, and Garcia just relied on his chin and timing that money punch eventually.

I agree with this..

Garci's only chance of winning was to CATCH him and he did........He was being beaten to the punch and he was cut...

No one has outboxed Khan...................and Maidana, Paulie, Judah and Mccloskey are good wins....

I'll say it again..........I'd prefer to see others fight Mayweather.........But my point is If YOU are happy for Macklin to fight GGG...........Then why shouldn't Khan who's done more get a bite too.

Macklin and Barker were top ten world rated middleweights when Martinez fought them. A champion can only beat his top rated rivals.

Khan is unrated at welterweight because he's never fought there. He also hasn't cleaned up at a lower weight as the likes of Hearns did before he fought Hagler (to save you the bother of attempting that rebuttal). He was nothing more than a top rated contender at both lightweight and light welterweight. He was also decimated at both weights.

And to compare Thomas Hearns to Amir Khan. Well, that's not only sacrilege it's also as goofy as the drivel you've assimilated above.
