Yes. They've done really well - and especially after a difficult start in the test match and losing the first one day match. They have put in some excellent performances. And as far as I am aware they haven't upset Aggers and co either.

Congratulations too them, great achievement. Especially after escaping with a draw in the Test and losing the first ODI, to win the next four games is a superb effort. Two great knocks from Sarah Taylor and Lydia Greenway to decide the T20's games too.

Another victory in the T20 means that England have won the last five matches in a row.

Does anyone know if the Women are having another Ashes series this winter too, like the men?

They are, and with the same format as well.

Felt the format worked well, but would like to see another Test Match or less points for the Test Match to try and stop both sides just settling for the draw because 6 points is such a big deficit to go behind. Will be a very tough Test in Aus though, can't wait.

Sarah Taylor is a really classy keeper. I reckon she should be coaching the men in the England set-up.

That catch was awesome. It was as much the anticipation as the actual execution that made it so good.

people on here will know I've been championing Sarah Taylor for at least a couple of years now (since I first watched her keep wicket in fact). She really is a superb keeper, and that catch was something very special indeed. Also a very fine batswoman, though not at her very best in this series, despite a couple of fine knocks.
Also worth a mention is Lydia Greenway's magnificent unbeaten 80 in the second T20 to seal the Ashes. Came in at 9-3 chasing 128 and guided the side home superbly, a brilliant knock filled with all manner of sweeps, reverse-sweeps and switch-hits, and even the odd orthodox shot too .
All in all, a fine effort by the women, and very very pleased that the game is starting to get some well-deserved coverage. Great to see a full ground at Chelmsford (without a men's game to follow!). Long may it continue!
