Can't wait for......
GGG v Stevens
This is building up nicely if a little quitely. GGG we all know about. Looks like the real deal with devestating punching power. Curtis Stevens however has lost 3 but since his last defeat has embarked on an impressive run of victories and judging by his recent DEVESTATING ko of Roman is feeling very confident. Although Stevens has lost to Dirrel GGG's style is much more suited to him then the dinky slick Direll. If you have not seen the Roman ko in the 1st round then please check it out before you, like a lot of people, write Stevens off.
Stevens is a very explosive fighter. Short and stocky and powerful. He does tend to gass in the latter stages of a fight but MY GOD he has a humdinger of a left hook. I don't care how scary GGG is if he gets caught with that left hook its the land of nod for him. Also Stevens has been talking it up and seemingly looks very confident he could not only beat GGG but put him to sleep. One thing is for sure is that it won't go the distance. I look forward to seeing how GGG will cope with Stevens who is a fast starter.
At this stage I still pick GGG.

For all the deserved hype about GGG's punching it would be easy to forget how hard he is to hit. He's going to be a super star. The next P4P No.1.

Strongback, what GGG have you been watching, he is relatively easy to hit, though he seems like he has a solid chin and was literally just walking through Macklins punches like they were nothing.

Very few of Macklin's punches landed clean. GGG's movements are subtle but very effective.

Rosado didn't have any problems landing, just couldn't handle the onslaught.

would be very surprised if Stevens is still there after 5. I want to see GGG take on Chavez jnr. see how he handles the size and chin. if he blasted him out I would be very impressed

He really did at times. At one point GGG let him take the front foot and moved his elbows and dipped his shoulders perfectly so nothing hit clean. He doesn't make guys miss but he doesn't often get hit cleanly either for such an aggressive guy.AlexHuckerby wrote:Rosado didn't have any problems landing, just couldn't handle the onslaught.

Proksa who has some dig landed some nice shots on GGG while it lasted and he just walked through them. Great chin, good but not great defence
