Sorry mate, I don't have any interest in either of those two players.

I think in the right deal I could consider losing Tip/Faletau and AAC for Hibbard and some lads, so what do you think>

Re: Bath Rugby
Depends whether you consider AAC to be a winger of centre, and how many back rowers you are willing to trade.

Re: Bath Rugby
Probably wouldn't go for SOB as it would mean I would have to put a lot in to get him. I was thinking Barrington but I'd want a LH in return and not so interested in your others. I could switch interest from Healy to Hibbard to make something work?

I saw, but you have changed from some of the lads you were interested in before and I have said that Faletau and Murray aren't going anywhere at the moment.

Re: Bath Rugby
That deals got no chance.
I'm still pretty keen on North but not with Ben Smith as he is my first choice full back.
I'd do Cory Jane plus someone else for North straight off.

I think he's poo to be honest ;-) Should give me him lol.
No worries for me Davies is best 13 in world rugby with Savea the best wing followed by JP Pieterson with North in 3rd.

Re: Bath Rugby
Would need a 9 back in any deal, and a similar EQ. Which 9 would be willing to lose and I'll make you an offer.

Re: Bath Rugby
Just trying to work out what I need mate, and my pressing need is a lineout lock. What would I need to add to Youngs to get Whitelock?

Re: Bath Rugby
Ok, so I can get Steffon Armitage and Ben Youngs in as a start point for a deal involving Whitelock, but would need to get an EQ back. We would probably need to also go bigger in terms of numbers to satisfy us both.

Re: Bath Rugby
Ben Youngs, Steffon Armitage, JJ Engelbrecht, Frans Malherbe and Samu Kerevi
For
Sam Whitelock and Sam Hill
???
Appreciate it would mean you would have to release a couple of players, but you'd get some extra cash that way as well.

Re: Bath Rugby
I'm giving you 2 EQ starters as it is. You trying to bleed me dry? The EQ academy lads that I would throw in are one of Harry Thacker, Ollie Adams, Lewis Boyce, Ciaran Parker, Will Owen, Hayden Thompson-Stringer, Charlie Beckett, Will Homer or Tom Collins. All of the foreign academy lads are available except for Thomas du Toit.

Ok, lets wind it back a bit then if we're taking Sam Hill out the equation.

Re: Bath Rugby
There would be no benefit to me in the deal if I swapped Vermuelen in for Armitage mate, I'm not going to do a deal that has no gain for me.
The offer I've made above is the best I can do other than adding a bit more cash. You get 2 EQ starters (one of whom is the current European player fo the year), an international 13, two talented academy players, one of whom is EQ and some cash and I get 1 starter who is not EQ, and an EQ back up. I can't really go any further than that mate

Re: Bath Rugby
Fair enough mate, although I think the point is that your squad would have better balance with the improve EQ options, which is possibly where you've fallen down previously. Not sure why Armitage would lose rating though, and I doubt he'll be coming home now anyway. Like I said, no worries, we tried, will crack on with offers with others instead.

Sorry mate, but I'm not going to lose 3 EQ players all of whom start for me, to get back an EQ back up scrum half, no matter how highly you rate Whitelock.
