Pak facing defeat ?? v. Zim in a test
when a minnow wins a T20....it's not a big deal...because T20s are 75% lottery.
when a minnow wins an ODI it's far more credible...because now the difference has widened between the sides over a 50 over game.
But a test match.....3 sessions and 90 overs a day........over 5 consecutive days and 4 innings ......is hard for minnows to match up.
established sides come back and can cover 2 or 3 innings of back log in a single inning over a minnow...that's why BD has never won a test against a big side inspite of being in winning positions often times...and Zim hasn't won any for a long long time.
But here in Harare.....Zim have competed and kept their nose in front upto half way into the 3rd inning and D3.
Pak trail by 53 and have 7 wkts in hand.....they have the bolwing and class and expeirnce to defend even if they get up by 150.
whatever the outcome for now Zim have drawn the attention of many follwers towards this game.

Really hope Zim can pull this one off but can't see them chasing more than 150 in the 4th innings against Ajmal on this pitch.

Pak are a 100 runs on with 5 wickets in hands...Younis standing like a rock with WK and bowlers to support him.
I see this ending as a 200ish chase for Zimbabwe....and that will be tough unless one of their top3 holds anchor and sees them throuhg with a near unbeaten 100

Out of Zimbabwe's reach now, sadly.
Fabulous double ton for Younis Khan, and Zimbabwe are 13/1 at stumps, chasing another 329 to win, or to bat out day 5 for a draw.

Zim 294 and 90-1
Pak 230
Zim effectively 154-1. Another very good chance to grab a Test victory here.

Pakistan fought back in last few minutes of play. Zimbabwe lead by 185 with 6 wickets left.

Been impressed with Zimbabwe's progress recently. Good energy levels in the field, and a few more players who look as if they belong here.
They still have that "afraid of winning" syndrome obviously. Having let Pakistan back into this game thanks to a lower order collapse, they are now once again well placed - Pakistan 134/5 chasing 264 on a wearing pitch. Would really like to see Zimbabwe get a win for their efforts here.

Zimbabwe could do with one more wicket before the close.

Zimbabwe are not a terrible side, particularly in home conditions. Despite the board's financial troubles they benefit from a reasonable first-class competition - one which many English players have participated in. It seems to be producing a good batch of players. Sadly their further progress is likely to be hindered by the fact that they won't be invited to tour most countries and their financial problems - problems which have already seen Kyle Jarvis depart.
Pakistan have real issues in the batting department, across all formats. Unusually for a Pakistani team their younger players are taking an awful long time to come good, leaving them hugely reliant on two veterans in Younus and Misbah. They probably aren't being helped by the lack of home games but on this form will struggle to compete with SA in the UAE.

there is a good chance of Pak choking tommorow....but for that Misbah has to fall fairly quickly
