Tana Umaga Tarnishes Spotless Record

The NZRU have and the temerity to issue Tana Umaga with a suspended ban for his righteous attempt to correct Glen Jackson on some of his more spurious rulings against Counties Manukau.

The faultless Umaga, who's spotless career yielded an international sportsmanship award for tending to an injured Colin Charvis following an incident where Jerry Collins had inadvertantly knocked him out whilst demonstrating why he probably should not attempt to run with the ball.

Clearly Glen Jackson had made a mistake of some kind and instead of listening to Umaga's undoubtably sage advice on how he might do better next time, Jackson had the gall to complain about the incident.

Aside from captaining NZ to their first northern hemisphere grandslam in the professional era, Umaga was also instrumental in coercing All Black world cup hero Sonny Bill Williams into becoming All Black world cup hero Sonny Bill Williams.

Spotless career: you forget about BOD drilling.

He does have a colorful history with the "C" word, as many will remember from the AI 2005 All Blacks romp in Cardiff, when (picked up on the ref's mic) he referred to us as a 'bunch of useless *unts'.

Whilst this may have been true at the time, it does suggest he is a man who has some 'issues' and can be a nasty piece of work.

Both fantastic players on the field, maybe he and Brian have far more in common, off the pitch, than either would care to admit.

I am not too sure that swearing on a rugby pitch (which I am pretty sure we all have done), and swearing in a bar when people are getting served before you (when possibly sloshed), constitues a 'bad man'

...which is absolutely ridiculous.

Aparently when Umaga swung a handbad at Chris Masoe and made him cry the bird whose handbag Umaga robbed was able to sell that handbag on ebay for about NZ$20,000 which is about €200 so at least he is good for something other than getting off scott free.
