Keenum looking surprisingly decent, although with all their RBs hurting he's probably in his element.

Meh, you would think he'd prefer to play the D# giving up over 300 passing yards per game and missing DeMarcus Ware.
Apparently Foles was playing with a groin injury. Avant should have caught a TD too.

Need to go to bed but watching Andrew Luck outplay Peyton Manning is too much fun. The Broncos have finally come up against a defence.

Eh that was a horrible pass from Foles, Avant was wide open and he threw it at the ground in front of him. He injured his groin pre Tampa

He really is riding that defense in my opinion.

I watched the Raiders defense almost shut him down for 3 quarters before our turnovers became too much and when they eventually meet an equally good defense then I see them being beaten.

Oh those Jets. When the offense can move the ball, we win games. New England defense is nothing without Jerod Mayo as we were regularly running the ball consecutive times for first downs in the latter stages of the game.

Tough game against the Bengals defense next week (@CIN). I can see Geno falling short on this one which would keep up the "one good, one bad" pattern. After that it's a tough one at home to the Saints. If we can get one win out of the next two, we go into our bye at .500 with a favourable home stretch. Can we actually make the playoffs?

Playoff picture:-

AFC

Chiefs, Broncos, Bengals and Colts are looking pretty good.

Patriots are still favourites in the AFC East.

The final playoff spot is wide open though.

NFC

Seahawks, 49ers and Saints should make it.

Packers and Cowboys are looking the most likely/ consistant in their divisions.

Possibly a shoot-out between the Lions and Bears for the final spot?

I don't think Atlanta are out of it yet for a wildcard in the NFC. Once they get White and Jackson back I think they'll run off a few wins and compete with Chicago and Detroit for the final play off spot.

I reckon the chiefs will lose the majority of their remaining games, not convinced by them at all, can see them ending with a 11-5 or 10-6 record and going out first round of playoffs.

Outside shot at the wildcard I reckon, and you're right Mayo's loss just killed our run D. Not too optimistic about our season now him and Wilfork are down for the year

Also how bout dem Colts!!! Serious shots in the AFC now

The only thing I would say that is anywhere near definite about the playoffs is that the Jags will be watching them on TV. I wouldn't rule anyone else out quite yet. There's a few likely candidates that will probably al but rule themselves out in the next 2-3 weeks, but its to early to make solid predictions.

The craziest part was having him throw so much when you also have Adrian Peterson, the alien cyborg who works best when everyone in the stadium knows he's getting it every down.

Horrible coaching by Frazier last night, I wouldn't be too harsh on Freeman at the minute, he's only been there a week and a half and they tried to make him the star of the offence that has AP on it!!

Sorry Olly but i'm not buying that as the reason for Freeman's ineptitude last night. Frazier can take some heat for starting a quarterback before he has a grasp of the full playbook but at some point (for me it came after about the 20th overthrown pass of the night) we just have to concede that Freeman cant throw for ****.

You have Adrian Peterson

You throw 53 times and rush 16

The one good thing about Freeman last night was his movement in the pocket...that's it.

Giants stacked the box to stop Peterson. Freeman needed to hit some passes to loosen things up but the way he played the Giants could have played cover 0 all night and just sent the blitz every play run or pass. I wouldn't have been worried about Freeman hitting any hot read the way he was throwing the ball last night.

I just can't understand why they were throwing so much. I would if they were a long way behind...but even in the third it was only 10 points. Give Peterson the damn ball!

I've got no idea what we were doing yesterday, it was if the coaches were treating it as a pre-season game giving Freeman practice! And on top of that it wasn't even the whole playbook. Not used AD well enough at all this year, O-line hasn't helped either in both pass&run blocking.
Bit disappointing as we could have fought for another wildcard position because on paper, the team has improved as a whole.

The Vikes couldn't run the ball so abandoned it early on. Only problem is, Freeman couldn't throw the ball either. I would still have liked to get Peterson involved in the passing game more on nice easy dump offs and screen passes. Get the offense in a rhythm and Freeman's confidence up a wee bit whilst slowing down the pass rush. It would open things up for the run game as well.

Is it just me or is there a lot of whining going on in the NFL this season? Seem to be so many players complaining about this, that or the other. It's really starting to bug me. Isn't it supposed to be a man's game and all that? The Bears' players are the latest ones at it - yeah Brandon Merriweather's hits were out of order, well one of them was and the other was open to interpretation by the refs but come on, man up people... it's a tough sport and stuff like that is gonna happen - if you don't like it then get out the league. Martellus Bennett's claim that he'd like to punch Merriweather in the face is just laughable - why not do it on the field on Sunday tough guy??? Why wait to say it when you're in Chicago and he's in Washington??? Maybe cos you're not actually that tough??? Quit whining like a bunch of little girls!!
