England winger a wanted man
First topic message reminder :
Marlon Yarde is out of contract next summer and the vultures are circling already. Rumours are that Tigers, Quins and Saracens are all interested in the London Irish man. I'd assume Bath will look to offer him a deal as well (they've stolen every other LI back going).
With Monye getting on at Quins Yarde would be a natural replacement, Sarries will be aware that Wyles and Strettle aren't getting any younger with Tigers looking at Hamilton, Camacho, Goneva and Thompstone all out of contract next summer with other vultures probably looking at the last two there.

To be brutally frank, Ashton has not been the same player since he was banned for hair pulling. He came back from that suspension and seemed to have lost his mojo.

Yeh 10 tries to 3 is convincing but you have to consider Ashton was playing for a top AP side whereas Yarde was at a bottom side. I bet if you looked at stats such as metres made, defenders beaten etc then Yarde would be more impressive.

Re: England winger a wanted man
I wonder how much the style of play comes into it when selecting a team to move to ? If I were a winger i'd prefer to play for Bath, Tigers, Quins, over saracens just beacuse sarries seem to play alot more defensive positionally rugby and Farrell, Barrit, Tomkins are not known for their visionary expansive play. Saying that if you want a fat pay cheque, international honours and a chance to win silverware then sarries is your team !!!
Hopefully under bath Garvey, Joseph and Watson will shine, letting Bath make top 4, challenge for silverware and make the Rec and applealing place to be for another Irish man.

They all seem to of started well at Bath.
Watson already looks a better play for Bath than he did for us.
Garvey is awesome and no surprise he has picked up where he left off for Irish at Bath.
JJ I am unconvinced about but maybe he will prove me wrong.
