Brock Out...Carwin In
With the news that Lesnar has pulled out of the No.1 contender match with JDS and Shane Carwin has stepped in, what are people's thoughts on this new match? Apparently bookies are making JDS a big favourite.

It's a recurrence of his Diverticulitis, this is an excerpt from the conference call:
"I want to thank the UFC, I want to thank Mr. White and I want to apologize to Junior dos Santos and Spike TV," Brock told the media on the call, "This is an unfortunate situation for me. I dodged a bullet about two years ago with Diverticulitis, at that time not knowing what the problem was .. (This disease) is something that never goes away. It's something I've dealt with since the first occurrence and I've been battling it."
Brock stated the recurrence of the disease didn't allow him to train to full capabilities. "I was forced to make a decision to go back to the doctor this week," Brock revealed, adding "I'm choked up about it and there's nothing I can do."
Dana White stated Brock "was all bummed out about pulling out of the fight ... I told him (not to) worry about the fight ... I'm glad it's not life-threatening."
"I love this sport and I love what I do," Brock stated on the call, "This isn't the end of Brock Lesnar!"

could this signal the end for Brock in MMA? Could it signal a return to WWE?
Re: Brock Out...Carwin In
I don't know mate, it depends what he means by "training to his full capabilities". If he can still work out, just not as intensely then he could probably go back to wrestling, if not then it's hard to see him doing anything that requires him to be in good physical nick.

JDS won't take Carwin down so i fancy Carwin to KO him. Carwin has knocked all his opponents besides Brock out within the 1st round. WAR SHANE!!!!

Fancy JDS in this fight - much more techical striker than Carwin and has knockout power also - i wonder has Carwin upped his cardio??? could be a key factor in the fight....anyways looking forward to this fight just as much as Lesnar/JDS

I feel sorry for brock tbh. This disease has potentially ruined a great athlete. before this virus got him he was one of the best athletes in the world.. I hope it doesnt stop his career.

I feel that this is a the better match up. You wont see Carwin cowering after one punch landed.
Has the TUF filming finished or will Carwin take over?
