School of Hard Knocks

Every year, the SoHK is really interesting but watching it this year, I can't help but think that there are a lot of shenanigans off-camera.
Leaving aside that it would actually be dangerous for a team of non players to play a competitive match within 8 weeks of seeing a ball for this first time, how did they "find" the players, do they pad the team out with ringers e.g. the two big props who both spookily played to a reasonable standard before.
On the plus side, it is good (or good editing/acting) to see the guys gain in confidence, get job interviews etc although, being Glasgow, I suspect that most involved will drift back to football or getting pished with their pals.

Highlight this year? The skinny guy Milky who is playing full back rabbit away to Will Greenwood for a minute for WG to confess "I haven't a clue what you just said to me"

Anyone have the inside track about how realistic the final programme is etc?
