Events you would like to see happen in 2014

A bit premature I know but then thats always been a problem of mine...

Here are my events I would like to see happen in 2014. Ive just stuck to British boxing for now:


* Nathan Cleverly ditches Vince as his trainer and goes on to beat a top 10 ranked opponent

* Amir Khan beats Floyd Mayweather Jr

* Adam Booth admits that his sexual harassment of George Groves caused the split

* Carl Froch receives a brutal career ending beating and retires from boxing and speaking in public all together

* Kell Brook finally gets the recognition he deserves...yep...an MBE for services to the Eastern European Binman Industry

* Tyson Fury knocks out David Haye

* Eddie Hearn gets banned from driving

* Joe Calzaghe comes out of retirement and beats Andre Ward

* Tony Bellew deletes his Twitter account (while still crying at any slightly negative comment made on there)

Groves got rocked by him so of anything id rather see that.

Bcos I think smith having a little Indian summer in his career and Degale stalled, think smith would beat him

Degales career hasnt stalled. Hes just keeping a lower profile. Hes developing nicely as a boxer.

Things I'd like to see by 2014 - Steffan kicked off the boards. That's right, Steffan to be off the boards by quarter past eight this evening

The FIFA World Cup.

All the Smith' brothers banged out apart from the one quality one.....

Mayweather to put Manny to rest............

Ward Vs Stephenson..Should he come through Bellew......

Broner to remain undefeated...........

Brook to finally get a shot.......

Hatton to speak to his Mum and dad......

JMM and the Klits to retire........

Haye to get knocked out..

Wilder to progress........

GGG vs Martinez.............

Barker v Murray...................

Chisora squashed and out of the ring for good..

Mayweather to stay undefeated.............and for people on here to finally realise that his like comes along very very rarely.........and to enjoy him while they can........

Stiverne to be awarded the WBC heavy Title (Although it will probably be "interim" because Vitali will be the WBC Political Champion or some poopie like that)

Haye to knock Fury into 2015.

Price to fight Chisora and soundly spank him in the 8th round after some iffy moments, showing he has a chin and a heart. This would annoy Az  

Andre Ward to give JCC Jr a thorough beating.

Wlad to be DQ'd for excessive holding & leaning.

Froch to fight DeGale.

Quigg Frampton to actually happen.

Brook to retire. No-one will notice.

Jimmy Carr to promote a fight in place of Eddie Hearn and see if anyone notices.

Roy Hodgson to do an interview and pretend he'd Frank Warren from the future.

Amir Khan to beat Floyd Mayweather but instead of them putting a belt around his waist, the police handcuff him and charge him with lewd behaviour over the internet...namely flashing his bits to Miley Cyrus.

James deGale to fight a guy who had to buy a ticket to get in as the original opponent decided he didn't like the idea of fighting in an abandoned warehouse

I for one would think it better for Brit boxing If Fury beats Haye.............Haye doesn't have much mileage left............Vitali won't be made because he has an inflated opinion of what he's worth..........He won't fight Wlad again should his life depend on it......and does anybody want to see him fight Price.......

Should fury win.................He remains unbeaten becomes a star and all options become available.......much younger too.

I think it would be better boxing Truss that better boxer in Haye wins, I don't want the embarrassment of Fury fighting for a title any time soon.

I'd rather not have Fury considered the best heavyweight we have to offer he's just not very good, Haye performed poorly against Wlad but at least he has talent.
