Manny and Floyd threads

First topic message reminder :

Boxing Alumni,

Two threads have been set up for you all to use regarding everyones favourite two boxers.

To stop the boards becoming clogged up with new articles everyday, please post any updates you may have on these boxers on the relevant thread.

From now on, only major news about these two will be allowed to stand alone.

Any thread that appears that inst deemed worthy will be merged. Any posters who try and post updates in new threads repeatedly, will receive sanctions.

We will allow specific fight threads when bouts are announced featuring these two but all other discussion about them should remain on the respective threads.

The proof is he put himself in a situation where no one takes him seriously and I can speak for myself in saying I never will, when questioned on anything he suddenly goes silent, accuses me of not knowing Martinez style for instance then gives no retort.

Why not ask for a consensus view on it then? I'm well of the answer to that already but every solution so far has been to the benefit of the minority rather than the majority.

Anyway i've pmd you on a different matter

Not as good as my weekend Coxy, took my daughter to the park and stood back in amazement as two year old managed to do the monkey bars, got home have some alone time with the missus before getting rat bothered playing poker where my inibriation caused me to lose a fair bit of money. Got home merry and fine.

After the season we have had have to say I enjoyed it enormously. Bent has been worth his weight in gold. Got to say we would be playing championship football without him. Just need Tottenham to see for the noses this weekend and could finish the season with a smile permently on my face for the next few months

You lot are breaking my heart.

I pretty much stopped actively following football years ago, but as a youngster I followed West Ham, ( it was the Moore, Hurst, Peters era, ) and I was still a little saddened to see the Hammers succumb to the inevitable at the weekend.

You guys have no hearts.

Sorry Windy, as a Villa fan can't help but take a little pleasure in seeing the unholy trinity of Gold, Sullivan and Brady suffering. If only the blues can oblige me this weekend and disppear from the premeriship forthwith it will be a happy day in the Rowley household

Feel bad for Thomas 'Der Hammer' Hitzlsperger though. He has done well since arriving at West Ham, and deserves more, remember him fondly from his days at Villa.

Yes Windy, apologies but any club owned by those poisonous toads getting relegated will always apply a smirk to my face. As Jeff says, all we need now is the noses to get hammered by spurs and despite our own shortcomings, I will be a happy man.

Darren Bent has to be the signing of the season, what a goalscorer. Agree with you Jeff, if we hadn't made that signing, we would be down for sure, I dread to think how the table would look if you took his 9 goals away.

I dont like the new owners sacking Sam like that - they deserve to go down.

And if Blackpool are to stay up (which I hope they do), then someone has to go. I prefer Birmingham to Blackburn

Having said that, it probably would be better to carry this on at the pub thread, since we haven't yet received the opinions of all interested parties over the ' Floyd / Manny news ' idea.

Great idea to have just the 2 threads from Manny and Floyd news. Couldnt see any other option other than an outright ban on Manny and Floyd articles which would have been ridiculous.
