Sad news especially after the accident that meant she lost her right eye, no word on exactly what caused her death although some may have their suspicions.

R.I.P Maria. Such terrible news. Obviously not being able to drive & having that passion taken out of her life, took it's toll in the end.

Sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

Current BBC article points to it being natural causes, but it could be complications following the surgery she underwent...or suicide. Too early to confirm anything yet.
