The new go compare ones are even less funny than the old ones, when he use to sing. Now they have people pulling awkward type faces. Crap.

Re: Worst TV adverts?
the one with the caped, bearded weirdo banging on about windows being buy one get one free really irritates
and the most irritating thing on T.V is the advert for made in Chelsea where the complete and utter tools sing, and think that this is either ironic or funny in some way, when it is just self indulgent tripe of the highest order

Yep...Wonga ones are pretty damn bad. Written by someone who probably regards Last of the Summer Wine as a high point in British comedy.

EE ones with Kevin Bacon in them
I guiarentee nobody is asking him when Footloose 2 is coming out. And if its not annoying enough to accidentally see an advert when you're watching tv you have to put up with him at the cinema as well

Not an advert but a guy in a few ........ The guy with the fluffy hair and beard in the Go Compare ( guy in charge ) and Spec Savers adverts (vet ) he freaks me out ........he looks like a cross between Roger De Courcey and Nookie Bear

The advert for M&S food where this woman chucks ingredients about the kitchen and her fella's supposed to be so stupid he thinks she's made dinner despite living with her so long he knows she's bloody hopeless.

that advert had the right impact on you - it was for the Coop I think!DAVE667 wrote:The advert for M&S food where this woman chucks ingredients about the kitchen and her fella's supposed to be so stupid he thinks she's made dinner despite living with her so long he knows she's bloody hopeless.
Re: Worst TV adverts?
I get up at five for work, and there's a few minutes before BBC Breakfast starts at six where the Beeb shows adverts for their own programme. Every morning for a good few weeks now, they've been advertising a fictional drama series called the Paradise (set in a department store - sounds great, doesn't it?). The music they use on the ad is 'Paradise' by Coldplay, a song I've never liked, but for the last few weeks I've had it stuck in my head every morning while I've had a shower, which I do just after six. This morning, they didn't show the ad for the Paradise, but I still had the song in my head!

Perfect Subliminal job done by the BEEB.
You now mentioned a BEEB show. That's all they wanted

Re: Worst TV adverts?
Now that I'm back on this topic.....those bloody Meerkat 'Compare the Markeets Dot Com'!
Too smug by harf, that bunch; after a promising beginning for a potentially humourous series of ads. Nope, they had to start hard-selling damn teddy bears and falling way off in humour standards. It's put me off real meerkats!

I get so angry the red mist blocks out whatever the f**k I'm supposed to be paying attention to.
The thing I hate more than just about anything though are the "speedy legals" at the end of adverts you know wheretheygiveyouallthetermsandconditionsinonecontinuousstreamofsoundthusfulfillingtheirobligationtoinformyouofsalientfactsbeforeyoumakeapurchasebutinactualfactdoingnothingmorethanannoyingthehelloutofmeforaboutanhoureventhoughitonlytakesaboutfiveseconds
