Nah mate I legged it after Carls fight. Took my nephew to his first live fight so had to get him back home to his num. the place was rockin . Hopefully they get Martinez back for a crack at that belt. It just keeps getting louder at Framptons fights. The place was completely sold out. My throat is fooked now from screaming

I just stayed behind cause the fella McShane is a mate of mine, he got me my tickets so kinda had to stay. Though wasn't much of a fight, Romanian fella got warnings for 3 headbutts and 2 low blows in the first 2 rounds before being disqualified for a 3rd one in the 3rd round. Was embarassing.

Atmosphere was outstanding, Didn't think the Odyssey could get much louder than it was for the Martinez fight in Feb, but was whole other level last night.

Hoping they go for Martinez next and not just straight for Quigg just because with a title of his own increases the chances of the Quigg fight being in Belfast. Though to be honest I can't see the Odyssey being big enough for it.

Frampton really is an outstanding fighter who may well go on to be among our best ever. As much as i like Quigg, Frampton is levels above and would destroy him if they ever fight.

Said all along that Frampton beats Quigg and I stand by that.

Quigg appears to be scared of him when he is asked, which is why Gallagher and Quigg have been avoiding him.

It's an opinion Trussy. He looks nervous and twitchy every time he is mentioned.

Settle down.

Look the fact is he won't be fighting this guy for a least two years If at all.....

So he's hardly likely to be "scared" of him........Just a way of putting down a gallagher fighter of whom you've been critical of in the past....

Fairplay that is your stand..and you're welcome to it..........

But like Strongy on Hearn......Best to point out where certain posters are "coming from"

You see you are going again.......Making assumptions........

and yet I question Hagler's record and don't rate Bradley that high..Last I heard they were Americans..

I welcome all your opinions......Just find 99% of them to be negative about everybody and everything...

Shame that.

I like the Smith brothers so that blows your 'assumptions' out the water too.

Personally I don't think Lumbering_Jack is too far from the mark. Quigg does seem to get a little edgy when Framptons name gets brought up.

I have a friend who recently interviewed Quigg following the Salinas fight and even he mentioned a change in Quiggs demeanour when Framptons name was brought into the conversation.

Off topic but relevant... Truss I was off the board for about 18 months and had kinda hoped a few things would have changed a bit but one thing certainly hasn't.... You're clearly a very knowledgable poster when you want to be and normally enjoy most threads that you start, why ruin that by being so permanently confrontational?

You are more than happy to air your opinion.........

I'm sure you don't think Lumbering is in anyway confrontational..

and I'm more than happy for you to think I am.....

Problem.........See the mods about it........

If I get banned well It's not the end of the World is it.........

For me and I'm sure most on here......bless them.

Wow.... its like you tried to prove my point.

I wasn't in any way trying to start an arguement, infact if you refrain from your apparent selective reading you would see I actually praised you in part of the previous comment. Anyhow I never said Lumbering wasn't, was just asking you a question as nearly every thread I have read since coming back a couple of weeks ago has decended into you having a slagging match with somebody. ( Admittedly you aren't always in the wrong, your Chisora/Mayweather thread for example) Just seems like you invite it sometimes when you have absolutely no need to because you are clearly capable of having an intelligent educated discussion.

Wasn't expressing a problem with you or having a go at you. More constructive criticism.

I have to say the times I have watched Frampton fight he seems to have it all, quick feet, power, boxing on the inside and outside, quick hands, and so far a decent chin... And ontop of that it looks like he has a fantastic work rate.

All that being said he is going to take some beating. I have not seen much of Quigg to be honest but from what I have seen while he looks a decent fighter I think Frampton wins hands down.
