Nice signing Greggers, he's looking alright for Spurs.

Roy Keane thought he was Peter Pan Laugh Laugh Laugh too funny. Wonder ifhe will be on ITV tonight and/or make a comment. If that ballsack Chiles calls him Peter Pan or makes some stupid comment & Keane lays him out, I'd love that!

Start this from Season 2. No point now with 1 game to go & we may as well not break the old method for last match.

Keepers
De Gea
Cech
Boruc
Lloris
Guzan

No order, but they have been the ones to standout with good preformances so far for me

Morning all,

After similar trawling through the players last night, my mind was made up by Callejon's goal and performance for Napoli.

Duvan Zapata looks like he is going to be some player too

Morning all,

I'm happy with our win against Schalke last night.

I've been thinking of some players to buy aswell but the ones i have been thinking of are between £10-25m and I can't afford that at the moment but that's okay, I can wait OK

I was waiting for someone to buy Callejon. tbh Afro im mixed, hes doing well in Serie A right now but I dont think hes a top buy. Candreva is onle one goal behind him |& no one rated him. Cerci would of been better imo.

Cristián Zapata looked like a beast last night. Milan did have everyone behind the ball though.
Neymar just doesnt fit, I dont know what it is but every time ive watched him for Barca hes failed to impress me. Confed Cup he was good, Barca career so far, meh, not so good.

Callejon has been great for Napoli now he finally has a run of games. Behind Hamsik, he has been their best player. I had a short list of him or Ricky Alvarez, and also weighed up Robinho or Kaka.

Cerci is limited to the right flank, whilst i was looking for someone who could play LW this week, but also provide cover in other areas in the longer term. Cerci doesn't meet my short term need whilst Callejon covers LW, RW and CF.

Candreva is quite decently rated, but no good for me as too expensive and mainly central, or RW

Duvan Zapata looks decent but he'd need to solidify a place for me, 15 minute bursts at the end of games isn't enough to warrant a bid yet.

For clarification, this week's fixtures are:

Glad t’be bach v FC Basel
Southampton v Athletic Ballbag
Lille v Would you dance, if Ajax you to dance
The Nodge v FC ZwagAtlético
Fool Em FC v Corinthians
FC WHU Do you think you are v PSV

plus postponed matches
FC Basel v PSV
Ajax v Fool Em

For those playing twice, you will need to submit two sets of tactics and you should use the same set of injuries for both games

How on earth this guy reckons he's 21 though:

No. I think we keep putting in proposals and then it doesn't really get discussed.

I'm proposing that it is £500k a place, working backwards, so

1st - £0k
2nd - £500k
3rd - £1m
4th - £1.5m
5th - £2m
6th - £2.5m
7th - £3m
8th - £3.5m
9th - £4m
10th - £4.5m
11th - £5m
12th - £5.5m

I don't like that idea sorry GSC, with the current system a manager has to decide if the lawyer is worth taking with your idea I can sell and buy a replacement without even thinking.

Take my situation for example I had a lawyer for a CB but I also had an injury to another CB,  I had to carefully choose to sell my CB an bring in a CB or strengthen elsewhere.

I didn't take much notice but Nick had a good idea closing the TP for a few weeks,  force people into doing deals in the league when TP closes.

Gerrard is not a top player,  Lampard was never elite level,  Gerrard didn't get much joy against Scholes,  Benitez took the rivalry personally, Keane was a naughty man,  Van nistelrooy almost came to blows with Keane,  Beckham lost the hunger and was more interested in becoming a  celebrity,  rooney wanted to leave,  Jordan Henderson will have problems in the future because he runs from the knees,  Carroll lacks mobility,  downing is not brave and were awful signings.,  something about Hargreaves he didn't like,  Anderson and tevez were main reasons why we lost 2009 final.

Some of the things sir alex talks about,  I'll be getting his book but I'm not happy with some of the stuff he has said.

Im agree with Viva, no extra TP's. If you get a extra TP's per each EoS Lawyer you accept people will just sell & buy a better replacement.
It will make thing tougher having only 2 TP's as then you have to be more organised in who your selling/buying, manager will have to prioritise they areas they want to strengthen. more challenging.
Whereas if you had 4 EoS Lawyers you could just accept all 4 & replace all 4. No thinking who or what position is priority, its just simple & easy.

Im for my TP Bids idea where we close windows. A PM vote system would be best to decide what all managers think.

My initial thought was 4 injuries are still having a major impact on which TPs you do as often you are getting cover for injuries as opposed to buying number 1 targets. I had thought that having a TP window would take away the ability to do this some weeks.

However, then I thought that it would then encourage more domestics

Ill be getting it. You dont have to be happy with what hes said. Just read & enjoy getting a once in a lifetime perspective from the most successful British manager & one of the best around.
The Keane thing is funny imo. Im not going to slate either, I love both SAF & Keane but I can probably see what SAF say of Keane being true, hes that type of guy.
The Beckham thing I think is quite clear he liked & wanted the celebrity status + posh had it. I wouldnt really question his work rate though, to me hes always seemed professional.
Rooney stuff is just Rooney, nothing we didnt know or to be surprised about.
Same with the selling Ronaldo part, nothing surprising.
