Re: The Storm
Worse still with golf is those who class it as exercise. It isn't, it is a walk, and walking is not and never will be classed as exercise. It is something fat lazy arse holes say to pretend they are trying to lose weight.

Re: The Storm
Super storm..? Pish and pah. Not even a storm, really.
Yeah, it got rather windy during the night down here on the south coast, and as I drove along the Solent sea front this morning the water had a bit of a chop on it, but honestly, it wasn't that bad.
There were some big gusts during the night, but the mean wind speed was not that exceptional. I've been in worse storms than that out at sea and laughed at the weather.
On a scale of 'totally becalmed' to 'blowing a hooley' this one rated as 'somewhat gusty'.
Of course, the me'm sahib didn't like it, bless her, but when I used to play rugby, if the wind was strong enough to make the touchline flags flutter, she'd complain that it was too windy and run off to the bar to watch the game from there.
Perhaps she was just being verrrrrry cunning, methinks.
