Harold Shipman is more of a boxing fan. He likes the Klitschko brothers as they also have lethal jabs...

To answer the question.

I have gone of wrestling, a small part of the reason is that I watch a lot of other stuff that i find better.

Also not really a fan of many wrestlers these days, both wwe & tna.

I used to love watching e&c battle the hardy's, dudley's etc.
The New Age Outlaws feuds with other tag teams, the dx with them, hhh & x pac.

Steve Austin was quality entertainment.
The Rock

Going back further, The Rockers,Demolition, Lod.
when survivor series was always 4 v 4' or more.
Loved watching NWO in WCW.

These days guys like cm punk, daniel bryan, just dont interest me.
Prefer TNA a lot more, but even that is pretty poor.

The old days were much better and kept me more interested.

Agree the old days were better, maybe i'm just remembering better than it was but since i started reading about the backstage goings on i seemed to find it harder to suspend disbelief and buy into what i was watching in the ring.

I would say though, as someone who started watching again regularly just after summerslam that there is a lot of good stuff in the wwe right now. Especially liking the wyatts, it's a throwback to when larger than life charachters were the norm in wrestling. Gotta love punk too. It'll never be as good, at least to me, as it once was but there's usually just enough good mixed in with the crap to keep me at least slightly interested.

Every time that Bono clicks his fingers, the WWE loses a fan.

Stopped watching when I started watching the UFC and MMA in general, that doesn't help the suspension of belief required to watch WWE.

I'll occassionally catch it on tv but mainly keep up to date reading online.  There are only 2 ppv's I like now, the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania but would never dream of shelling out on a PPV now.

For pure nostalgia I like forum's like this to think back to as previous posters have mentioned "the good old days", characters nowadays fail to entertain as much but that could be to do with me becoming an old fart.... Shocked
