Call Of Duty: Ghosts

Little suprised there isnt already a thread about this. Got it last night - what does everyone else think of it? I dont play campaign just online so can only comment on that. At the moment it is not better than Black Ops 2. There are only 13 maps. Some of them are stupidly big meaning it can get quite boring. I suppose I need to get used to it but it seems a lot harder to rack up kills. There are some better things though, such as you can create your own soldier for multiplayer. You can rename him, choose what he / she looks like (including gender) what they wear etc. The knife kills look a lot better and more realistic. Still no hardcore free for all though which is really annoying.

Any other thoughts?

Just get battlefield.

Nah dont like Battlefield. If Im moaning about COD maps being too big Im hardly going to like the country-sized maps on Battlefield am I?!?!?!?!

Avoid just buy the other cheaper versions of the awful franchise.

Simplicity sells. That's how COD does so well.

talking of which , the developers of Cod ghost as been caught out using scenes from earlier games . wondered why that German world war two tank in the back ground doing in Afghanistan

I notice they're turning to more creative adverts now to sell the game. I stopped buying COD games the year before last year. I really enjoyed them but they've gone stale.

For me COD world at war is still the best.

COD Ghosts is harder than Black Ops 2, this time the online multiplayer game is geared more to being defensive than running into the middle and killing 4 or 5 people.

The key to ghosts, is to stay on edges of map.
If you in middle there is less cover than what there is on Black Ops2, so therefore you are getting shot from 360 degree angle.

If you stay on edges of map and go in a big circle, you can only get shot from behind or infront, so straight away you are reducing the amount you are killed by 50%.

But its more defensive, you shouldnt run as much, move looking through the sights as you approach corners etc and the biggest hint is to find the high ground.

Im enjoying it

Im enjoying it a bit more now. I play Hardcore Kill Confirmed. My highest amount of kills on it is 27. Not quite as good as my Black Ops 2 highest - 53, but it will do. I quite like how some of the maps have specialities if you complete the field orders. The Strikezone one is the best. Not only do you kill the whole opposition team in one go, you completely change the map mid-game.
