One happy Bucs fan here. Got my Revis jersey signed by the man himself after he caught the game winning interception.

Texans expected to release Ed Reed today.
This is two days after he said they got out-coached.
Someone will pick him up

If he goes, along with Nick Collins a few years back, then the Pack will have lost two very talented components to career ending neck injuriesOlly wrote:

The Ravens made some funky decisions this offseason, letting Reed walk wasn't one of them. Injuries taken their toll

Wow, that's excellent. I seen some Jets fans were abusing him on twitter but I have nothing but love for the man. Great player, leader and professional.Pr4wn wrote:One happy Bucs fan here. Got my Revis jersey signed by the man himself after he caught the game winning interception.

He was a gent too. As were Vincent Jackson and Gerald McCoy. Gerald was clearly absolutely exhausted and he was attending a party in honour of Warren Sapp who got out in the ring of honour at half time. McCoy still came out to talk to fans and sign autographs. Very nice bloke.

What are the American fans like Pr4wn?
I'm going to Dallas in a few weeks and I'll catch the Raiders/Cowboys while I'm there. It's a debate between me and two of my friends whether I'd get beaten up for wearing Raiders gear in among all the Cowboys...

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread IV
There were loads of dolphins fans mixed in the crowd and I didn't see any trouble at all. Everyone gets drunk together before the game while tailgating and it's just a fantastic atmosphere. Nothing like an English footy match.
You will be severely outnumbered in Dallas but any trash talking is all in good spirits, especially when they find out you've come all the way from the UK to watch their sport...

I think it's a decent signing. We need help at Safety, Rex knows him well from his time in Baltimore and we have a very young defense that his veteran leadership can help keep in check.

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread IV
Some interesting stories over the last couple of days.
The Bills complaining to the NFL about unfairness in the scheduling after bye weeks. Maybe the best solution would be to have eight bye weeks with each division taking it in turns then follow each bye week with divisional games.
Adrian Peterson has also said he would like to stay with the Vikings but knows the NFL is a business which revisits the 'Vikings to trade Peterson' rumours from a few weeks ago. Peterson to the Cowboys for Rome anyone?
Meanwhile Richie Incognito has filed a grievance against the Dolphins.

Onto the Chiefs vs Broncos game, Andy Reid is 13-1 after the bye week. The one loss though was last season.

Shame the Cowboys don't recognise his talent to feed him the ball on a regular basis. He should have Megatron and Marshall-esque target numbers.Bull wrote:Dez Bryant is a legend!

Ah looks like there will be nothing fancy about our method of losing tonight. Just going with the traditional method that all bad teams tend to favour of crap offense and crap defense from the outset. Go Redskins!

Seems the Windy City is a little too windy right now: game stopped right now and stands being cleared out because of a nearby tornado.

With the Jaguars and the Buccaneers threatening not to suck as much, no 1 pick in the draft is up for grabs.
Nice to see Ray Rice and Larry Fitzgerald this week.

I picked Rainey up in a few fantasy leagues and left him on the bench. One of them already had 30 points on it from Chris Johnson and Coby Fleener from Thursday.

It really must sting Dan Snyder to know that 4 years into Mike Shanahan's 5 year $35m contract, this team is possibly worse than it was at the end of the Jim Zorn era. The offense is no better from week to week although is more capable of putting together a big game every so often but the defense is infinitely worse.
