Tough game, but I needed those points in the weekly competition!
Pats are just too banged up to compete at the moment. Given they stand zero chance against Denver next week, is there any mileage in them resting their starters?

We've got a good record against Peyton at home, but doubt we pull it off unless Talib, Dennard and Gregory are all fit

NFL rules on PI:
Actions that do not constitute pass interference include but are not limited to:
(c) Contact that would normally be considered pass interference, but the pass is clearly uncatchable by the involved players.
Its pretty clearly uncatchable if the defense catch it 5 yards in front of the players involved!
PI will always be overturned if a ball is deemed uncatchable. There was never a chance of Gronk catching that ball. Had Brady thrown it just over his head mind...

The INT doesn't make a difference, it's un catchable by way of throwing it too far away from him.
It was more holding or illegal contact than PI

To be fair, it's pretty easy to be 5 yards away if you're being pushed away from the spot.skins4ever wrote:Its pretty clearly uncatchable if the defense catch it 5 yards in front of the players involved!

Yeah it's holding not PI, could've been a better throw if the O-line could actually block

And I wouldn't of said it was uncatchable for Gronk anyways. Did you see him drag three Panthers to the endzone on his TD lol

To be fair to Brady, in the post game conference he admitted it was a poor throw.
All game Newton seemed to have ages to get his throw off (was he sacked all game?) while Brady always looked rushed.

The O-line has been below par all year. Vollmer and Solder have been good but Wendell is rubbish, Mankins inconsistent and Connolly isn't good enough to be a starter imo.
Certainly expect us to look to improve it next year.

Really excited for tomorrow night's game. Think Denver will win, but should be interesting with the weather forecast for it to be bitterly cold with a wind that'll make it feel below freezing

Anyone just see the punch up on the St Louis game?
Anyone that thinks that Chris Long was sprinting down the field to have a punch up with his own brother, clearly never played sports with their own family who is a hot head

Mcfadden out for the raiders AGAIN
im gonna assume hes played his last game for Oakland. If he isnt cut this off season I really have to question McKenzie and Allen. Even when hes been fit he isnt producing wereas Jennings is

So nobody seems to want to win the NFC North, unless you count the Vikings.

I'd be surprised if Kubiak is still in a job next Sunday. Appalling season, starting with his marriage to Matt Schaub

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread IV
Houston's defence has always been overrated, and Schaub was never good enough before he became a pick six machine. Gotta think it's the end of the line for Kubiak, and Keenum's shine is wearing off in these past few games.
Bridgewater must be praying they lose out, imagine lucking into Andre Johnson, Arian Foster, DeAndre Hopkins as some of your skill position players!!!

Re: Ongoing NFL Discussion Thread IV
So the Jaguars can't even tank for Teddy. They are now 2-1 since their Wembley game. A huge final five minutes for the Dolphins vs the Panthers, especially with the Patriots taking on the Broncos later on. The Chargers vs Chiefs games is a good one.

That must have been the craziest end to a game of football I have ever seen. Neither Tampa nor Detroit wanted to win.
In the end the Lions won at losing.
