a bit of light-hearted wumming. i'll kick it off.

any AB fan "we weren't at our best today"
meaning - the opposition were bloody good

mccaw "we took too long to adapt to the refereeing of the breakdown"
meaning - the ref was wrong in his interpretation of the breakdown

any england coach "we are looking to play an expansive game"
meaning - we are committed to 8 man rugby

Gatland "i pick the team most likely to do the job"
meaning 1) - i love being wales coach
meaning 2) - i'm still peed at being fired by ireland
meaning 3) - BOD needs to be put out to pasture

wales fan "we are the best team in the 6N"
meaning - why cant we get a result against SH teams

england coach/player "we're not arrogant"
meaning - who cares what anyone else thinks!

SCW "anything he says"
meaning - remember me remember me my time as coach coincided with the greatest forward pack of all time. please dont forget me.

Meaning- He seemed to be following the rule book and blowing his whistle for infringements, rather than just letting things go.

Meaning- Nothing will be learnt

'He offers a lot around the park'

Meaning- He is rubbish at doing his actual job.

'Actually rugby in NZ is behind golf and football for participation'

Meaning- Everyone in NZ either wants to be an All Black or they want to marry one.

i also love campese. my particular favourite though, is obviously when he was a good enough sport to accept the merciless heckling from the English media in the aftermath of England's victory with good grace, and walked humiliatingly the length of Oxford Street wearing a sandwich board on which was the English flag overlaid with the words "I admit, the best team won!" to make good on a somewhat rash promise he'd made before the tournament.

Meaning - We're bout to go and whinge and demand we get our own way from these incompetent refs who had the audacity to penalize us more than the expected amount , failing that we want them stood down from top tier games Very Happy

further than that bullsbok. Straight after England's win in 2003 you can hear the rumbles in the ARU... "we can't have that.. lets change the rules to suit our players". and thus the ELVs were born, the try count crashed and the defender took control of the ruck.

The gap is closing.

We still can't string victories together against SA and NZ.

The RWC is the only thing that counts.

We're not good enough in depth or ability to win every game.

We gifted them points and take out those two tries, we would've won.
