Massive night of boxing ahead. Whose in for the long haul and staying up for the Pacquiao vs Rios fight?
Rocky Fielding is up first on SBO at 6pm.

Jim Watt is already driving me to it. Aren't there a few 606'rs there... can't they take one for the team and assassinate him? These days for murder you'd be released after 10 years for good behavior.hampo171 wrote:I agree Izzi, if this was a Warren card people would be going mental.
Going to be a turgid hour or two before Froch kicks le ginge's arse

Darke's gone to BT and is doing football now. He's great at commentating on that as well.Strongback wrote:hampo171 wrote:Ian Darke is the best commentator Sky have got for boxing, shame he doesn't do it more often.

He's moonlighting!
Didn't turn it on until the Campbell fight as had to get my daughter to bed. If Darke's available he should be on!

I'm making a strong coffee as the undercard is putting me to sleep.
Might record it and make the kids watch it when they next complain about not being able to sleep.

Good win for Lee, can see he's still adjusting to the tactics Booth wants him to use. That right hand was fast and powerful though.

Pointless fight for Lee that, he's a world level fighter who should be in against the likes of Macklin, Barker and Murray not a hungarian journeyman.

Short notice fight so can't really complain about it, I believe he was only added to the card last week, a keep busy fight and nothing more.

Still annoys me that he lost to Chavez, he proved he had so much more ability than junior that night.

Been a pretty poor card but good to see the brits in action and winning nonetheless, Fielding to me is looking like a real prospect now.

Gallagher saying Frampton turned the fight down, but Eddie says he's yet to hear back? Can't see Eddie wanting that fight, to dangerous.

Terrible to have to wait till 11 for ring walk. Also, 15 quid and loads of adverts. Froch early for me. Too early for Groves

You sure you're watching the right fight Izzi? Looks very confident to me, not fazed by the crowd or the task ahead of him it would seem.

In the opposite corner, look at how many people are trying to build Froch's confidence.

Re: Fight Night Thread.
In comparitive terms Froch looks far calmer, far looser. Groves attempting a static stare out without shaking out etc just seems like he's a bit anxious for me personally.Rick James wrote:Agreed.hampo171 wrote:You sure you're watching the right fight Izzi?
