Which penalty is this?Ent wrote:Was talking to lj.
Be excited, well deserved.
I'll just address the penalty - apparently a clear one but quite frankly to be champions and successful you have to win in spite of poor decisions and we used to do this all the time.

Im presuming he means the Hernandez dive in the box. You should know United fans see imaginary penalties LJLumbering_Jack wrote:Which penalty is this?Ent wrote:Was talking to lj.

Typical sour grapes which is very common from these glory hunting type fans. Just expect decisions. That cheating little runt should have seen a yellow for his flop on the floor.Fernando wrote:Im presuming he means the Hernandez dive in the box. All three goals have been own goals apparently.
Liverpool should be well ahead, Sterling has had about three or four chances he should have put away.

Sterling is useless though, can't finish just like alot of other young wingers we have when they get in the box.

Making it difficult for ourselves, should have put the game beyond doubt. Not sure why Rodgers is choosing to make a defensive change now, will only disrupt the defence, especially bringing on Kelly who hasn't played for a long time.

There it is. Liverpool are intriguing. After that goal they opened up and better teams than us would have punished them.

Guy is a tool. Happy he's banned for 3 games. Disgraceful 'tackle'. Another own goal makes it 4

That's either 15 this year for Suarez, or possibly the fourth own goal of the game.

A really good day for Liverpool all in all, apart from Gerrard's injury.
Want to be in the best position possible with the run of games coming up, get some momentum going as well.
Bring on Spurs.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'something'
Interesting that. Liverpool shoot a lot. But only one of their players with any accuracy!
Midfield and defence are clearly suspect to some degree. I'd be worried about playing anyone good if its a midfield of Allen, Lucas and Henderson. But they move the ball well and fast in the final third. Not sure how much of a barometer you can take from defeats of West Ham and Norwich in their current states (well, before Norwich woke up today), but I'm sure Liverpool fans will be happy to see them dispatching these teams that bend over for them, rather than a couple years back where they didnt know how to handle poor sides.
Bonus for West Ham is that Morrison comes back into the team next week and Nolan is out. Should get a chance to play Morrison in a position that suits him and not have to pussyfoot around how to fit Nolan into the team.

I think his foot is hindered by a foul. Still think Newcastle deserved to win. As is life.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'something'
A lovely part of the country, sitting quietly in Cambridgeshire on a nice river, away from the busy nature of major cities.
Twas more about character anyway, even if it was merely a quip to return your insult and not reflective of some lovely people I know from Newcastle.
I think his foot was caught. He was placing it forward, and it was knocked away from his momentum, thus causing imbalance. I don't really see how that could be idiotic.
But you've broken the internet discussion rule anyway by mentioning the Nazis.
