Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has lifted his threat to sack manager Malky Mackay and the pair will hold talks in an attempt to salvage their relationship.
Tan sent Mackay an email last Monday telling him to resign or be sacked.
But with the 41-year-old Scot refusing to walk away voluntarily, Tan is now prepared for a possible reconciliation
When asked if the ultimatum had been withdrawn, Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman said: "For the time being, yes. The crisis for the time being is over."
He added: that Mackay was is "in charge for the foreseeable future and will be until something else happens".

He was superb last season and at the start of this. His form has really dropped since his injury against Everton.
Tottenham should rest him a few weeks and give Friedal some games.

If Frank Lampard and Aaron Lemon, I mean Lennon go to the world cup and Barkley doesn't then they should banish Hodgson to the Falklands like Napoleon at Elba.

When I was going to watch Wrexham they played goal music, so did a lot of the lower league teams. Had nothing to do with the atmosphere.

If we don't start picking up points soon, then think it will be bye bye Paul.
Wouldn't say i want him out, but he needs to sort something out in januay.
Centre back is top priority.
Tekkers has been pish poor since his injury.
Wasn't even on the bench sat.
Strong rumours that he will be off in january.
Palace & Swansea this week.
Palace draw
Swansea loss.
Sunderland away nyd, draw.
Gonna be back in the relegation battle again this season.
Fun times.
Don't want this to sound like a rant, its just concerning, despite it only being christmas.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'something'
Lloris has always had that in his game. He basically sees himself as a goalkeeper first & sweeper second. He's too excitable when the ball is played through & just loves rushing out. Will cost you four or five goals a season in my opinion. The fact he always punches the ball irritates the hell out of me, when he could just catch it. AVB was too stubborn to change to a 4-4-2, cost him his job.
Barkley........I love this kid. That's all I can say on him.
@Mystioakey - I know that selected group, only a few will challenge but just thought I'd add the supposedly world class strikers to the list, just to see how they are doing this year. Also Guiseppe Rossi now has 14 goals this season.

Yeah, Gazzaniga is shocking but it's more because Lloris is held in such high regard & being the french no.1. I just feel with hugo, there's always a mistake in him, which is never a good sign. His obsession with rushing out & acting like the sweeper just would worry me.

Arguably the biggest match in the season so far approaches and this place has gone quiet!
Hears some noise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwQDXWfmsSo
Massive game tonight. Not sure if I can call it. If Mourinho gets it right then Chelsea might frustrate Arsenal better than anyone. Pure ability means Arsenal have it in them to win it. Koscielny a big loss but Torres is the striker. He gets himself up for big games though, could he produce something tonight?
Is it Rosicky over Flamini? I'd expect Chelsea to restrict playing space ahead of the front four and Ramires and Hazard to stretch the counter.
Exciting times ahead of Christmas. Personally I want a draw and loads of sendings off, only cos we play Arsenal on Boxing Day and we cant beat that team.

Same been struggling with niggly injuries this season. Have to say id probably play Flamini tonight to make us more solid down the midddle.
That being said since Ozil has come in off the RW due to Theo's returning he's not been as effective as he was at the start.

Yeah, not sure Wenger has selected the best team available, probably needs a little more steel in there, asking Arteta and Ramsey to do a lot more defensive work than usual.
Both managers have been cautious, so I'm expecting a low-scoring draw. Not a lot of goals in Chelsea's side at all.

Id agree that Flamini is a big miss, which even goes further to prove right those of us in the summer who thought he was a bargain (including Allardyce who tried to get him!)
