is it worth splashing 22m or so on Palu? Will he be considered a noticeable improvement on Waldrom at 8? Many of you had him around 7th in the top tens, but hasn't played much recently. Its either him or Rush or a back up back three player.

Agreed with the injuries, but with back row injury free until game 17, is it worth getting a back up? Surely better to improve starting line up with Rush/Palu and then got 4 weeks to save up if a flanker gets hurt! Could release joubert for 9m for starters!

What im basically asking is......worth 22m or so on Palu to improve waldrom? is waldrom a weakness? if not, ill get some cover for back row or back three

We had the discussion about Hook before and 12 and 10 are his best positions we agreed on.

It's up to you if you get Thomson he would surely start before Alberts a combo or not, Thomson is better than Alberts both started Super 15 well but Thomson seemed to continue his form throughout while Alberts dropped off.

Warburton is rated you know that yourself, while I don't know your ratings on Mermoz 4 Hook I prefer Mermoz but yet again Hook is pretty damn good.

Both are good but it's not all about combo's even though they look good, Thomson would be better on Alberts, and Warburton and Hook is hardly a loss.

Well i see it as follows, but bear in mind in sa they switch 6 and 7 around!

Broussow (wears 6) - out and out OS, great fetcher, would do a job at BS (like dus)
Schalk - normally a OS, but bigger, so with broussow, he would be a BS
Alberts (wears 7) - normally a BS or N8, but quick enough to play OS.

I wouldnt want elsom and alberts as flankers, they are too similar.
